I was not assigned a truck on the original location that I booked it from. I contacted UHaul and was then sent to a different location which was in an extremely shady area on the highway. There was no office/counter and a trailer being used as a makeshift office and there was no one attending and also no parking space for customers as the whole area was being used as used cars sales/rental. Since no one was present at that location I reached out to UHaul again and then redirected me to the last location (Westmount Hotel). The last location was good and organized but my experience with Uhaul until that point was terrible. I was provided 50$ credit for all these concerns but I am not satisfied with the resolution because it caused significant inconvenience, distress, and additional expenses. Here are some of the issues I faced; I had arranged two workers for two hours for loading the UHaul truck from my old place at 10 AM but because of the delay of almost 2 hours in getting the truck they could only assist for about 15 minutes before leaving for their other commitments. I still had to pay them for full 2 hours. My wife and I had to do the loading ourselves. She is recovering from a surgery, and this extra effort caused her considerable physical distress and both of us a lot of emotional distress. Because of the delay, we missed the scheduled service elevator at our new apartment and had to use the regular elevator, causing inconvenience to other residents and additional time for unload. I had hourly general labourers booked in the new city for two hours as well. They had to wait for us since we were delayed. I had to pay them extra for their waiting time. The unloading at new aparment was delayed and completed until around 9 PM compared to what we originally estimated it to be done by 4 PM. The 20’ truck I was given (instead of the 15’ I requested) did not fit in my parking spot. I had to find another place to park, adding more hassle late at night. I had to return to my old city to drop off this truck, adding extra mileage cost. The amount I had to pay for this move is way higher than what I would've paid if I hired a moving company and they would've done everything by themselves. The delay also caused me to reschedule my internet technician appointment for Saturday morning since now I have to go return the truck. The new appointment I got is later next week so I am now without internet for almost a week. Overall, this situation has caused extra cost, physical strain, and major inconvenience. I kindly request that you review this case again and provide a fair resolution or compensation for the additional expenses and distress caused.

DANIEL SLocation is not convenient. My return location was listed wrong on the return information that was emailed to me at a later time. The location I said I would return the unit to was listed as my address and a totally different return location was listed. I called uhaul and they fixed this issue.

NADIA BI have no idea why this was my dropp off location. From the start of the process I had chosen the vsriety store actually nesr my house somehow by thr end of the process it has chosen this location. The greatest annoyance of all as it was MUCH further away. Terrible experience and costs us more. If variety store was chosen dont CHANGE locations on people or have them "re-confirm" and its not the originsl location that was chosen. The pickup/drop off process needs serious work and to br consisent with what was chosen initially. Uhaul should be paying for the extra gas and miles it took to get to this other location.

JAMES YI had it booked for 8:30 , I got there and it wasn’t there was told to come 2 hr later and still wasn’t there , had to make 2 extra trips to get and it was 20 minutes from my place and then I had it for only 16 hours instead 24 hours and still had to pay for a full day, on top of all else they didn’t do paperwork right and got a call from a higher office, I would not recommend this place
DANIEL DCharged us extra for fuel and we filled the tank to 1/2 full and when we picked up the truck it was on 3/8 on the gas tank gauge. We want a refund for the fuel charge of $16.62. It would be beneficial if the fuel tank was full on pick up and then you fill it up when you return the truck. Ridiculous way to run business!!

WILLIAM MI booked online. It would have been nice to have the option to upload ID and CC info in advance and be directed to a lockbox to pu keys to save time. Spent a further 20 min getting processed. The equipment is always in good shape, the clerks friendly and no huge deposit required like the big box stores. Facility also called me to pick up the Apple AirPods I forgot in the unit. That was a nice. Overall very happy with the experience.

GREGORY RAlthough I am fairly local to this area, I wish I would have been reminded that major roadwork at rail crossing nearby is being done these days. I last fuelled in Woodstock and then found out I had to make a large detour to return the equipment on the other side of the tracks. Having been in Ingersoll as my destination prior to that, this could have been avoided for fewer miles.
