My contract called for drop off in Mustang, OK. The address on Google reflected an address not existing. Telephone number when finally answered said that location was closed. Discovered later there was another location that only accepted trucks. And I would have liked to return on Sunday, but the ‘Mustang’ location according to internet was closed on Sunday. It should have NEVER indicated on contract about drop off in Mustang. NEVER. I drove back and forth trying to find the address, all while on 20 minute HOLD to UHaul 800 number. Then she said hold on, and yet another long hold until someone in Louisiana said they really couldn’t help me locate a return. Drove out of my way, joy to mention all the time lost, finding another location in Yukon only to be told they couldn’t accept, but perhaps the Yukon location off Reno Ave could. So off I go backtracking when I receive a text, saying go there. Duh? THEN I find out I had the wrong trailer apparently. Good Lord. Somewhere during this fiasco, I did receive a phone call. Yes, I heard the apologies, but what ticked me off was the fact the UHAUL representative DID NOT take responsibility for the information out on the internet, and that I should have gone only to U-HAUL.com. Well guess what, UHaul.com locates listed the same damn location in Mustang that I was trying to find, same phone number I attempted to call, and who answered said that location was closed! So, UHaul, if you want us to return in a timely manner, you are responsible for providing the information necessary to facilitate that without pointing fingers saying it’s not your responsibility. If it says U-Haul, it IS your responsibility. It is inexcusable with today’s electronic technology that updates and corrected information be almost instantaneously completed. No excuses, except your lack of attention to details. In this matter I spent over two hours and 35 miles trying to be responsible and return your equipment, that should have only taken about 1 15 minutes or so. That said, thank you (sarcasm) for making me miss some Christmas Eve events at the church. You guys need to do way better. This was inexcusable.

I was only 3 hours or less late on return of truck and was charged for 2 days. It would be nice and respectable if you could prorate time instead of charging for 2 full days. A little ridiculous to pay for time I didn't use.

Don't order a Uhaul on your phone it's a pain to pick up and not much help from the people in the office

I arrived very shortly after the place opened and there were already three people waiting in line. There were system issues with their machines not syncing correctly or something. Long story short, I didn't get out of there until almost an hour after my scheduled pick up time. I have rented from U-Haul numerous times (corporate stores) and have never once been told that I could not rent if I did not supply an address of where I was moving to. The problem is that I wasn't moving. I was helping a friend move away from her abusive husband and I didn't have the exact apartment number. Between this and the ridiculous wait time, the entire thing was nearly derailed which put a woman's life at risk. I was originally helped by a man who was incredibly rude and seemed to treat everyone else like they were stupid. I watched as an older woman was having issues with the phone pick up service and instead of helping her, he told her "well we texted you a video yesterday, didn't you watch it?" Whether renting with the phone pickup or counter pick up, this woman was their customer and she clearly needed help. Instead she was dismissed and told to go outside and find her truck by someone who clearly didn't care. During my transaction the man originally helping me up and left in the middle of it and the woman working thankfully took over. She was very helpful and incredibly friendly. She was the only pleasant part of the entire transaction. This place gives U-Haul a very bad name. After this experience I went and read reviews and found this is a consistent problem at this location. If U-Haul is willing to continue overlooking this behavior and low quality of service, maybe I'll switch to another company when I need a van or truck again.

I have rented and dropped off equipment at this location a couple times in the past because it is half a mile away from my apartment, but this last time I was dropping off a car hauler the employee told me she didn’t have space for it, that I had to take it to another location, she couldn’t tell me where the nearest location was, all she could tell me was to call the number in my pamphlet, as I was driving into the location I saw a big open field with plenty of space but as I was getting into my truck she felt bad I guess and all of a sudden she had space for it. I will never do business with this location again, I’ll be dealing with Penske.

West Pointe location is awesome. We've used them several times over the past couple of years and have always been very happy with the service and the vehicle. They have everything ready when you get there and you're typically in and out in less than 5 minutes. They're very professional and always make sure you're aware of every charge and everything you need to do to avoid unwanted charges. I have absolutely no complaints about this location.

Typical with the auto-transports, the belt tighteners for the tire hold-downs are bent up and in need of lubrication. They are very difficult to adjust. Please add this to routine maintenance on all auto-transports as this is the third one I've rented and had difficulty getting the ratchet to tighten or loosen and, yes, I have used these ratchets many times so it is not the operator's issue. Tks

I rented a dolly and moving blankets. Maybe remove the dolly and blankets that were zip tied in the truck as they were not the way. Other than that everything was great. Will use this location next time I have a need!
