Please help me. I was incorrectly charged approximately $8,000 due to a mileage calculation mistake. The vehicle was recorded incorrectly because the return location (plaster rock) did not verify whether the odometer reading was in kilometers rather than miles. This error was not caused by me. The vehicle was returned properly, and the staff failed to confirm the unit of measurement before processing the charges. As a result, I have now been charged an excessive and incorrect amount. This has created a significant financial inconvenience. The $8,000 charge is currently sitting on my credit card, impacting my credit utilization and potentially causing interest charges and fees at the end of the billing cycle. I have already had to spend considerable time contacting multiple representatives to resolve an issue that should have been identified at the time of return. Please escalate this to a supervisor or head office immediately. This matter requires urgent correction. I should be reimbursed and refunded for the full amount and any interest or fees incurred as a result of this incorrect charge. Telephone issues, was good service from the booking people but when forwarded to the scheduling people I was on hold for 46 minutes, 9 minutes tried calling the direct number given, was "not available from my calling area" then after calling booking and transfered again to scheduling I waited 193 minutes (I was driving) before giving up.
