If you are going to rent a truck watch out for that steel step on the back of it. It’s very slick and I fell off the truck when I stepped on it. I told uhaul about the incident but they don’t seem to care, as It has been a week and I have not heard back from them. I landed in the dirt and have scrapes and bruising. The next day I could barely move and it disrupted my moving plans. Thanks a lot uhaul.

We arrived. Computer down. 45 minutes later with help of uhaul rep on phone they gave us a truck with over 87,000 miles and,all dirty, scratched and dinged everywhere. We could wait no longer as had 2 hired helpers just standing at our sold home waiting for us. Uhaul rep was trying to help and gave us extra day but we brought truck in 2 days early. Were nervous about this old truck driving 600 miles to new location. With the late start we had to do a lot of late driving which we hadn't planned for. Corina st wild rose tried her best to help us. We have rented lots of times from uhaul. This was our 1st bad experience. Uhaul rep was very helpful his name was brandon.

Tank was only half full though contract indicated 5/8 full. Proprietor didn't amend the contract and said I wouldn't be charged for the extra 1/8 if I returned the truck with half a tank. But the proprietor on return side charged me for an 1/8 of a tank.

I WAS TOLD WHEN I RENTED THE TRUCK IF I DID NOT SWEEP IT OUT I WOULD BE CHARGED $25.00 I WAS GIVEN THE TRUCK FULL OF DIRT (I HAVE PICTURES) . AS I WAS LOADING THE TRUCK WHEN THE TRUCK GOT WEIGHT ON IT WE NOTICED IT HAD A FLAT TIRE THAT YOU COULD NOT TELL BECAUSE IT HAS DUEL TIRES. HAD TO CALL TO HAVE IT FIXED. THE TIRE GUY DID NOT HAVE BIG ENOUGH TIRE JACKS AND HAD TO USE 2 AND WE HAD TO UJNLOAD SOME ITEMS AND STOP LOADING TILL HE WAS FINISHED. WHEN I RETURNED THE TRUCK I TOLD THEM MY ISSUES AND THEY WERE GOING TO LOOKI INTO A CREDIT FOR ME AND CALL ME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND I NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALLS. WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN WOULD HAVE WENT WITH PENSKEE

I rented a truck and an appliance dolly but didn’t realize the truck did not have a ramp which I then had to get another truck with a ramp and got charged for the first truck because it was over a 1/2 hour until I got it back to the station. Which in turn caused me more time and more rental $ hours. Shouldn’t if I get an appliance dolly, the service people know if need a ramp too?

Too much going on and not enough people. Check-in and out took forever, like over an hour to get the truck and over an hour to return it. I only went 34 miles!

I only drove 11.2 miles, but was charged for 5.2 gallons of gas. I have a picture of the fuel gauge showing it was full when I returned it, however the final receipt shows between 3/4 and 7/8 full. I was overcharged by nearly $25 and when I contacted the location to dispute the amount, they completely ignored me.

The App/website is defective. It directed me to a drop off location that does not do after hours drop off and my assigned drop off time was at 6 pm....after hours. The after hours customer service I received when calling was subpar and I felt as though the rep did not care about the situation, however, she did change the drop off location eventually. Also, in trying to upload a photo of the mileage and fuel, the app would not allow it. I had to call Customer service a 2nd time...at least the rep I spoke to then was much more helpful. After all of the issues, we barely made it in time for drop off to avoid being charged an additional day, and we showed up 40 minutes prior to the required drop off time. In addition, we had to pay for additional gas that we used from driving from the non-after hours drop off location, to the new drop off location in order to put the level back to what the contract said, although it was incorrect too start with. We should not have been required to do that, since the app directed us incorrectly. It was a nightmare after being extremely exhausted and stressed from moving. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again.
