Rebecca MThe location was closed that day but the owner/manager alerted me to that. She was very helpful and friendly when we talked. That's the reason I am saying I would reccommend this location to a friend. The equipment was clean and ran pretty well for a rental truck with 87,000 miles on it. The reason I marked it as average and wanted to bring to your attention was the fact that I ordered 36 blankets from wrapping my furniture and when I picked the truck up, it had NO blankets in it. I was not notified of this and it created a huge problem for me. I was able to find one at another U-Haul location but had to drive about 10 miles out of my way to get them which had a trickle down effect on my moving plans. My recommendation is to proactively inform the customer when there is an issue and get it fixed.

Gary AThe U-Haul app was not working kept freezing up , I called the (800) # they were no help , they told me there was nothing they could do , that I had to keep trying to restart the app and I had to wait on the app to work, my reservation was for 4:30pm I arrived at 4:20 and didn’t leave until 5:40 with the U-Haul … I paid for 48 hours, 4:30pm Wednesday to 4:30pm Friday and they charged me for it but wanted it returned at 10:30 am on Friday , that is not 48 hours or what I reserved and paid for!!DO BETTER U-haul !!

AMY MI would not recommend the Batesville location. We turned the truck in on time and on the app and they are charging us an extra day fee. I have already emailed support but this is ridiculous to use the app provided and then to get charged for something you did not do. The location even has a sign stating they are closed till the 8th so we are unsure how they are even saying we returned late when we checked in on app and returned keys the day of. WILL NOT USE EVER AGAIN
Ashley RNeed to check the rachet straps. The last person to rent the tow dolly rolled up the rachets straps incorrectly and had them knotted inside out to where they were impossible to unwind using the release mechanism. It took almost an hour and a half to get them unwound because they were so tightly knotted. If it had not been the only dolly on the lot, we would have traded but unfortunately that was not an option as this was the only dolly available locally. Also one of the "S" hooks was missing from one of the safety chains leaving it unattached so that needs to be repaired. We returned the dolly after hours but plan to let the office know once they are open after the holiday so they can address the chain hook issue.

Steve Hno improvement needed. Even though they were not physically at the site when we dropped off the trailer, they were responsive to phone calls and texts and made the drop off experience pretty simple. Would definitely do business with them in the future.

MARK BThis location was fine and the employee/owner was easy to work with. HOWEVER the whole U-Haul experience is confusing and frustrating. There has to be a way to rent trucks closer to my location - especially since I live 1/2 mile from U-Haul location. Again, Williams Rental was great to deal with. My problem is with the U-Haul company.

david fI accidentally put too much gas in it and returned it with a full tank. The lady just replied as “I noticed that” and didn’t offer any credit towards my balance. I asked for an emailed receipt and she didn’t provide that either. This took place at drop off in Batesville,

Christina KTrailer contained around 10,000 ants and eggs I have video if anyone wants to see it. The truck was very good condition. The operator at that location was a very nice gentleman, but needs to store the equipment better. I would go there again because of him, but would check out the equipment very well before leaving

ROBERT CNo communication what so ever. Called several times, left messages. No one never returned my calls. I eventually called the call center. I was charged for not fueling the vehicle completely over the white line on full. I refilled on the F. I was told I would get a deposit after returning the vehicle instead I was charged an additional $43 for a 10 ft $19.95 truck I was charged $300😞 NEVER AGAIN😡

Bennie RService was great! Go to the store instead of messing with it online. They are very helpful. Pro tip: we thought we wanted to rent a car hauler to drive 15 hours. It was very difficult and added about 5 hours to our trip. I wish I would have just driven my car separately.
