The trailer was frozen in ground and jack was barely operable, had to use my vehicle jack to get car transport high enough to get it on hitch. Ratchet strap devices were rusted and very very stiff to operate. Front driver side of trailer had a broken weld. The staff at Wind Rose was very friendly and customer oriented so they were great, but trailer was less than desirable condition. I identified the issues when I dropped off the trailer.

Only issue I had was at turn-in -when the U-Haul app did not allow uploading of photos. Manager and customer service helped me ensure turn-in was complete despite issue.

I rented a auto transport for 1 day, returned the trailer at this location on Labor Day (office was closed) so I followed instructions through the app by dropping off the trailer and my contract in the drop box. Almost a week later I get a call from uhaul that this location can’t find the trailer and that cops will be called. I advised them to have cops show up and I can take them to the location and show exactly where I dropped it off and how cameras were pointing in parking lot. A few more days have passed and I got a receipt online saying I had the trailer for 8 days even though I had it for 1 and spoke to uhaul customer service the morning of drop off. Some organization obviously needs to happen between the store fronts and customer service. Customers shouldn’t be threatened police activity or added extra days of rental because a stores lack of ability to monitor its supply.
