Maybe have the trucks in the locations you say you have them available, so we don't ha e to drive an hour out of our way and pay more then we should have to use a uhaul truck. Then when we finally got to the different town they told us they rent them but did t k is what to do to rent it out.

The UHaul associate was polite, efficient, competent and friendly. In minutes I was checked in. The trailer she recommended had dual axels, which turned out to be a great choice. My freight was over a ton and the trailer was smooth really easy to load and off load. Made my day easier. Great experience. I would recommend Windswept Kennels/ UHaul to anyone.

I rented a 6x12 open trailer and drove by 4 or 5 other U-haul locations on my 50+ mile drive to get it. I just wish at least one of the other locations would have had this particular trailer to rent

As a first time trailer rental, my experience was fabulous. They walked us through everything we needed from hitch to pad lock to helping get the trailer attached to our car. They even double checked that the taillights properly worked. Overall it was a great experience.

A dog kennel so smelled bad, employee did not help me load my car onto transport to ensure it was safe. coupler came loose when unloading and trailer detached in the process.

I dropped off on a Sunday and this location was not open. It was a little confusing, because off the lack of instruction on how to confirm trailer was dropped off. Not a bad experience at all. Circumstances were just strange. Will probably still use this location for future rentals as it is extremely close to my new home. Just unable to rate service as it was closed/ no customer service available in my situation.

Good service but bad day for us. We didn't get to use it. Our truck broke down about twenty miles out. Several hours and one horrifying experience on hwy 84 and one tow truck later it was returned. Now once we get our truck out if the shop we will rent again. It did suck to not use it but still pay for it but I guess that's life.

Have knowledgeable U-Haul staff. Not a dog kennel business renting U-Haul's on the side. Provide customer service and then make it good. Have working equipment. When the equipment does not work as intended provide some satisfaction to the customer. Do not leave a repeat customer feeling they were cheated and don't want to ever want to use U-Haul again.

We arrived close to quitting time and so the personnel left as quickly as possible. However we rec'd a text from U-Haul that made it seem that we hadn't done the paper work and since we didn't have anyone to ask, we had to return the following day only to find out that the text was some kind of mistake.

On the larger trailers it would help to have a jack stand the tongues are very heavy to lift the trailers on to the ball.

Very loud with dogs barking as it is a kennel too. Difficult to do business with. Offered a discount when I called then could not come through when I arrived in person. Had to explain twice that I was hauling a broken down car and not moving a house. With a 10 hour drive ahead, I had to wait as she chose my rental to train a new employee - no empathy. Then, 8 miles out, a tire on the trailer blew out leaving us broken down and waiting 90 minutes for a repair. Nail in the tire.

Overall experience was good. I do have two suggestions: 1. When I reserved the truck, I was told the gas tank would be full when I picked it up and I was expected to return it filled. At the time I picked up the truck, the fuel level was approximately 1/4 tank full. This required me to fill up. I'm 65 years old and doing this was a hassle for me. My intention was to have my friend, who was not with me at pick-up, drive the truck and have him refuel the truck before returning the truck. Not wanting to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere, I completely filled the tank. Consequently, the truck was returned with 1/2 tank of gas, instead of the required 1/4 tank. Which means it cost me approximately 10 gallons ($24) over what I actually used. That was just irritating. Not renting the truck with a full tank of gas seems sketchy, a way to make extra money in the form of unused fuel paid by me, the renter. 2. I wasn't told I needed to go online if I wanted to drop the key in the drop box. I had trouble getting online. Then I realized I didn't have my reservation number with me. It would be good to communicate that information at pick-up. Otherwise, my experience with personnel was very pleasant and the vehicle ran well. Thank you.

When a customer has a reservation, what is being reserved should be there and I shouldn't receive a call 20 minutes prior to pick that my reservation can't be fulfilled.

The truck reeked of cigarette smoke and unwashed bodies. The back was not swept clean. The check engine light came on and the equipment was putting off a bad odor. Wheels were unbalanced and bald. The location was not the problem but the state of the equipment.

It was a weird location for a uhaul. It was smelly and noisy from the dogs. I'm not sure it can be improved as it's just the nature of a kennel.

This location is a pet kennel business. They have U-Haul rentals as a side business. I've rented on 3 different dates in the past 5 - 6 weeks. It took 45 min. to rent the U-Haul. The staff is not trained for any errors or adjustments that need to be made. The same fuel return gauge was inaccurate on the truck I returned today. I was told it took 1/4 tank to drive 6.9 miles. I was charged milage & $25.00 fuel charge for driving 6.9 miles. On 7/19/18 I returned the same model truck The return gas gauge was in the same place as when I picked it up. I drove 12.4 miles. I intend to call the Boise office & make a complaint above the fuel charge. If the charge is not removed I will contact my bank with my previous contracts & dispute the charge.

I think the truck should be full of fuel when it is picked up. It makes the user unsure of how much gas can be put in and not use it down to what is required to return it. I have no rented a U-Hall in ten years but I thought it would be full of fuel.
