Reginald BThis location was supposed to be open and I was expecting somebody to be there to check out our rental. There was a sign with a number to call but nobody answered and the voicemail was full. So I had to figure out a place on the property where I could leave the truck and trailer without getting in the way and then call UHaul later to advise. That being said, everything worked out fine and we were billed what I expected a while later when somebody showed up to check out the rental.
Adam PLittle tough to get in touch with owner via phone. Owner was extremely knowledgeable and courteous when we booked the truck.
Richard KThe truck had moving blankets and garbage inside the cargo area, as well as the interior of the cab floor was covered in mud and items from the previous family that used it.

Brian TMake sure a truck is available as per the reservation for that equipment. Moving is stressful and not rebooking your reserved equipment to someone else makes everything go much smoother. I had booked this equipment for the day, and then came to find out it had been booked out to someone else for a one way move. I was surprised to say the least and the added stress was unnecessary. I will think twice before using uhaul again.

Josie LReceived the wrong truck according to vendor, the cab was dirty and smelly. Paid double from quoted price. Received multiple emails, the last one a cancellation for the rental. Was never asked about extra insurance or told I was getting charged for it. Paid a deposit, received instructions for the return at the receiving location. The vendor was kind and personable.

Richard KRenting and using the provided uhaul truck was the most stressful part of my move. I called a day before my move because of an email I got stating a wrong pick up address and I was told to go to 1hr away from my pickup location to get the truck else the reservation will be cancelled. I got there and there were no blankets or dollies as per my request. The uhaul rep did not even assist in pulling the car on the dolly he just said good luck and left the premises. There was a stinky smell in the drivers cabin which aired out eventually but the exterior had a very bad smell from dead bugs from previous use which made winding the windows down challenging. To make matters worse, the A/C was not working properly would work only when it wanted which was not often. The gas was at half tank. The pickup location is the worst service I have ever received. The wind shield fluid sprayer was not working and had to stop a lot just to clean bugs off it. The truck was leaking and damaged several of my items and furnitures. The drop off location I select and sent to the person that contacted me was not notified of the truck been dropped off. Missed my flight getting back home because of the mixup, did not even have time to refuel the truck which was why I chose the first location because it had a gas station.

david sAll was good and we had a great experience. The only flaw would have been the cleanliness of the cab. Definitely could have used a wipe down. Otherwise no complaints.
Dawn LI'm extremely disappointed on the way uhaul handled my reservation of the trailer, initially I had a 6×12 then on Thursday they called and told me there was a change and my pickup point was at Winnipeg Beach instead of Inkster and I'd only be getting a 5×8 trailer! At the time when they called I was driving and couldn't think fast enough. I stopped to find where the new destination was, it was too far and taking time away from my extremely short stay in Winnipeg! Uhaul knew I was coming from Edmonton and did nothing to accommodate me. I feel I should be financially compensated for my inconvenience. If I don't hear back from uhaul with a offer of compensation, my online review will definetly be reflecting my unexceptable experience!!

Mahmut SThe gentleman at the Winnipeg beach location was excellent. Uhaul in general was awful. They called us on the 26th to tell us we would have to drive 2 hours round trip to get a trailer and so we delayed a week and then a day before the new date again made me drive two hours to get a trailer. As jerry seinfeld told the airport employee you are good at taking a reservation. You are not good at keeping a reservation.

Adam WI would not use u haul ever again. I got such a run around it was crazy. And on regent in winnipeg it is poorly managed they dont know whos coming or going. I ordered a truck got the # from them it was ordered for sat they called on monday and asked if i was getting the truck on monday. I said no its fir sat they said they dont have one for me to try other stores. So u called your main # and they got one in st.marys for sat so i called to make sure on thursday and they said they dont have one either so they sent me out of town to pick one up and it cost me more to go get it for gas and mileage. What a rip of company. No thank you.

Randall WI received an invoice with charges for an additional day the day after drop off. I had trouble with on-line drop off but spoke to the location manager and was given instructions. I still have to talk to a divisional manager to have the extra charges reversed.

EVAN BI called Uhaul to ask about getting my truck a few days earlier. They said sure you can pick up and its inly 2.5 hours away! I said no thanks. Then they said they had another truck 1 hour away...and I again said no thanks, I will keep my original reservation.. They said since I called and "opened" my reservation, it was no longer " secured" and my truck was gone to another family. I had made the reservation 2 months earlier and now they said its gone it was gone in the 4 minutes I spent on the phone. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE CROCK. I NEVER SAID CANCEL. Lots of stress driving thru a blizzard to pick up a truck 1 hour there and 1 hour not to mention gas to to bring it home. Of course the 2 wheelers I rented were also not in the truck. Then the date to return the truck on my invoice was wrong despite 2 phone calls to correct it. Definitely not happy with this aspect. Some good people on the pick up and drop off locations but this customer service 1 800 phone line is the worst. BE CAREFUL WITH THESE GUYS.

Rene HUpon arrival we were told our hitch did not have the correct attachment. So we had to run around Gimli/Winnipeg beach area to find a suitable converted attachment, which was difficult to find.
