Stop ripping people off!!! This truck was left on EMPTY and I put $100 worth of fuel in it only to be told that the store wasn't going to do anything and to call customer service. After being on hold for 58 minutes I was told that I MIGHT be able to get reiumbursed by the fuel manager. MIGHT?! UNACCEPTABLE! I will be getting my money back, best believe that.BARBARA H.

When we went to the gas station to fill this truck up, it was at 3/4 full. My husband filled it up and dropped it off at the True Value. Got my receipt and I was charge $52 for gas. They owner/manager claimed our truck was at 3/4 when we dropped it off. I'm sorry, $52 to fill a tank from 3/4??? We spent $28 to fill it up. The owner/manager of this store was downright rude from the second we walked in. I had it reserved from 8AM-6PM, when I showed up at almost 10 AM I was scolded as if I were a child. I paid for a service, I picked it up when I could and I still brought it back by the agreed time. I will most definitely be calling corporate and having this taken care of. I tried explaining to him that we filled the tank and he continued to say we didn't. I will not argue with someone that clearly does not put their customers first and has a poor attitude.KAYLA K.

One complaint - paid $52.74 online for rent of u-haul truck. Paid $102.03 total for use of truck which DID not reflect my $52.74 payment made online. My fault for not catching this at the store but I plan on returning there tomorrow to ask for refund for amount paid online a week earlier. What can you do to improve these errors?Michael M.

My complaint isnt about this location. The Lake Geneva U Haul location promised at 26' truck. When i arrived it wasnt there. No text, call to let me know. I had to drive another 10 miles away to get a 26' truck (20 miles round trip). Sucks, when i am paying movers to sit and wait for meJOHN M.

Duane was very helpful when picking up the truck. May want to look at the breaks on it though, pulls when applied. The Uhual app royally sucks, can NOT make changes on it, and if you try calling a location or customer service, you are on hold WAY TOO LONG, more than 30 minutes. I could not even cancel the first truck I reserved after having to reserve a different truck at this location. Duane took care of the for me.JEFFERY H.

We reserved a uhaul at one location but had to pick up at a location that was 35 min away which wasn't a huge deal, just inconvenient. We couldn't get the 24/7 pickup process through app on two different cell phones to work. We could only get so far before we got a â€œno network connectionâ€ error, which was frustrating. Thankful for the 800 number and the nice lady who talked us through the process using the .com site instead.Christopher H.

Location has poor GSM cellphone voice/data reception complicating the after-hours return process when using the UHaul mobile app. (No public wifi, as well).BASIL S.
First I could not locate the U-Haul in Oconomowoc Wis 3 miles from my home so had to choose U-Haul in Sullivan Wis 7 miles from my home. Then 10 hours before the pickup date received notice that I had to pick up the truck in Elkhorn, Wis 30 miles from my house --- not good service.PETER A.
It's not that it is a bad place, it's just not as nice as our pick up location. The woman was nice but all she did was take my key and say she'll send me a receipt. I appreciate the discount we got for dropping off at the Elkhorn location.JULIE N.

The web site is a little challenging to navigate but once you get your info in the rest of the transaction is smooth and effortless. Have used this location several times and he makes it super easy from start to finish.Richard B.

I have used this location several times and have never had an issue until 12/19/2020. The cab was dirty, definitely not cleaned nor Covid protocol clean. The driver rear tire had a two inch crack in the sidewall and both exterior and interior tires were bald. The person that loaded my truck showed me the flat tire. I was stuck waiting for a service technician to change the tire. I expect a partial refund of this rental. That truck should not have been rented or in the road. Had the roads been icy, with bald tires, my safety would have been in greater jeopardy. Very disappointed and upset.Susan R.

Hardware store and personnel were great, but my reservation didn't show up in my phone and UHaul rep Dani was rude and unhelpful , store stayed open and had to call District rep to get my reservation to go through, I have now been charged a $20 after hour fee. I couldn't check the uhaul in because the reservation still didn't show up in my phone, so employee at store said they would take care of it in the morning. Will probably never get a U Haul again because of all the problems.Joseph C.
