This store was great but the schedulers in the area handled me terribly, I did not get the furniture pads I ordered and was hassled by uhaul employees at every turn. Repeat customer (used uhaul s 10 times in 12 years), I'm gonna consider budget next timeAkbar A.

I was supposed to have moving blankets and pads in my truck, and none of them were there. I had to drive around to multiple locations and spend an extreme amount of money to get some. There was barely 1/4 tank of gas. The self service pick up was a nightmare, and was so difficult to get the keys. It made me add alternative contacts and it had to call them to get approval before I could pick it up. Why was there not an option to do this beforehand? It was very early in the morning and it was difficult to get multiple other people to pick up their phone.Sarah M.

We initially received the key to the wrong truck-- the online check in gave us the code to the wrong key lock box. We had to ask someone working in the store to get the correct key. There were also no moving blankets, which we ordered and paid for, in the truck when we finally got it open. We were scheduled to pick up the Uhaul at 2pm, and i had already checked in online, but the experience was so chaotic that we didn't leave the pick up location until 3:30. There was no advance mention of having to "verify" our identity by calling an outside contact. The online pick up process was extremely confusing and unintuitive.Erin W.

Our truck was returned on a Saturday morning and as of the following Sunday night, no one was notified of the return. I had to call customer service (very helpful) to make sure the truck was called in and I was not charged for additional days. We weren't sure how to return the truck so a little help from the staff at wow foods would have been appreciated. Customer service, however, resolved the problem within a couple of hours on a Sunday night.Michael S.

The truck I ordered was not there at the correct time. I arrived at 10:45 for a 10:30 pick up and there were no trucks on the lot. When I called the location, the man said, No trucks today and hung up. Then a truck came later bc the people were late dropping it off but by the time the check out and check in process was done, I was an hour and a half late to get moving.Janine M.

I was switched to this remote pickup option after selecting a real UHaul location less than 10 minutes away. It took over 30 minutes to go through the rigamarole for obtaining the truck keys.Joanna H.

I dropped the UHaul at this location on Monday June 5. The woman behind the counter took the keys and told me that all was good. Unfortunately, I did not receive any paperwork. Three days later I received a call from UHaul asking when I was going to return the truck. And today I received a bill for 3 extra days of use - this is a scam and I am will never recommend UHaul to anyone.Laura S.

I was told three different locations, had to go to the middle of the city to pick this up and it was on such a narrow street that I hit a car! It caused a day delay in departing, which cost me more money. Moreover, two tires blew on the first day of driving! WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN.april A.
Make sure your vehicles are maintained during a pandemic. Make sure your equipment such as furniture dollies are available if pre reserved online. Don't let customers clean your trucks in your own facilities. Don't make your guests wait 2 weeks after rental to finalize a contract after a bad experience.Roman T.

Absolutely atrocious pickup location. Needles on the ground around the truck. Loud music blasting inside when trying to communicate with the person behind the desk, and wasn't in a good neighborhood. I will absolutely never recommend anyone pickup a trunk from that location ever again. To top things off, I was charged for a hand truck that I was never supplied. U-Haul also told me that pickup through the dashboard online was not available at this location, even though that is the only way to pick up the truck at this location. This caused me approx 45 min of delays before we actually were able to leave the pickup location.Ryan D.

Nobody came to inspect our vehicle or help us with checkout. The staff inside the food mart barely even knew that one guy was running a uhaul rental location out of the store. I had to call uhaul 5 times to tell them my order was still active after I returned the truck and each time I was told someone would call me back and no one ever did.Madeleine H.

The service at Wow Market was top notch. Unfortunately my van rental was dropped off without the dolly and furniture pads I reserved. Because of this, I had to call and then drive to the Uhual location at 2990 South 20th Street. The man at the front desk refused to provide the items I reserved or a refund for the items. The very nice man at the Wow Market had to call the S. 20th Street location twice in order for the person at the front desk to provide the items that were supposed to be delivered with my van rental. I recommend the Wow Market location, but cannot recommend the 20th Street location.Brandee M.

Wiper blades were extremely worn making highway and interstate driving very dangerous. In my opinion driving safety items like bad this matter more to a renter than a swept cargo box (which seems to be U-haul's primary focus). Other than worn wiper blades, the truck was fine.Thomas F.
