The owner was rude. I tried to ask how to do mobile pickup, and said I was frustrated it wasnt working, and he was dismissive and irritated as soon as I walked in. He also didnt read my order at all, would get irritated when I told him I wasnt sure what I ordered a week ago and it should all be in the actual order online re: insurance coverage, and then he threatened to cancel my reservation "go ahead, say something" . There was barely any talking afterwards and he decided to "offer me some advice" regarding coming into his store and how he feels I should act. First, being frustrated that the mobile pickup option wasnt working is NOT a slam on him. All i said was "Im trying to use your mobile pickup and it wont allow me to?" and I was clear that I knew this was a uhaul problem. He wanted to run my card again (gave it but told him it was precharges already) and asked for my id. But when asked what my name was, i gave the first name and then said "the last name is on the id" My last name is difficult to spell based on hearing it. He was pissed about that. This guy was chauvinistic and racist (firmly believe sex and race played a part here). He literally was pulling a power move. Nice to any guy who came in the store. Dont get irritated when your location offers mobile pickup and someone asks you how to do it. Also dont offer anyone advice when you are just being patronizing and insulting. I dod nothing to deserve any of that. I was frustrated aboit the MOBILE PICKUP that Uhaul said i was supposed to use. The guy was already visibly irritated seeing me on entry. No parking Very crowded lot. My original pickup location was on Tilghman street and 13. When I arrived there was no one there Finally she dhowed from the restaurant She did not speak English. She just said â€œ no uhaul today â€œ. Another person in the area asked her what she meant. She said the person that handled u haul took the day off. This is terrible. I had to rush to another location and it put me in a very tight schedule. I had to return the truck without filling up the fuel which I was charged 8 dollars for. I will think twice before renting from u haul again in the futureRobert H.
I have been double billed, your people charged my card without my permission when I picked up the truck for $99.80, then when I brought it back less then 4hrs later thet charged me again for $69.77. There's no way this rental costs $170. I am filing a report with the police, my bank and the BBB. I chose the Livingston street location because it's in a good area, at the last minute I get a call that I have to pick up the truck at the 7th street location, which is in the ghetto and very sketchy. I couldn't reschedule so I was stuck. This was the worst experience I have ever had, I will never use Uhaul again or recommend them to anyone I know. I am so pissed off and I'm not going to rest until I get my money back and I'm going to seek criminal charges on your agents. theySojoania C.
Engine light was on there was large pieces of glass in the back of the cabin the truck smelled like human feces. And this was the second truck the first one did not even start. The place is to small and is share by a garage which has other cars park in the middle so had to wait for the cars to be moved so we can get our truckEdwin V.

representative did not take me out to show me the truck. upon getting on the road, I realized the engine light was on. there is a garage and a phone shop attached to the uhaul place. there is barely any room to get the trucks in and out. there is literally room for one car to drive in and no way to drive out. you have to back out. it's crazy! you would have to see it , to know what I was talking about. The parking was horrible. To get out the parking lot I had to ask the garage people to move their cars. The truck was dirty too. Also, the steering wheel on the truck was off. I really didn't feel safe driving the truck. Lastly , the Mirrors weren't adjusted and I could barely see.Sharda S.

Had trouble getting truck out of parking lot. Cars blocking drive and had to find people to move them. Keep lot open or bring trucks to the front for pickup.daniel K.
This location wasn't where I reserved my rental, but I was very satisfied with their assistance and professionalism. I arrived at the neighborhood dealer moments after receiving a call from them, stating they didn't have a truck for me. I was then directed to travel 10 miles round trip to another dealer who had a 15' truck available. Not only did this delay our move by well over an hour, it also added additional expense in mileage and gas. If vehicles aren't available to rent, don't take a reservation. The clerk was very helpful and appalled at my store during the car truck rental in Philadelphia. She suggested I call the company and file a formal complaint. I returned the truck with a half full gas tank so, there go any savings I wanted to have by moving by myself!Alvaro G.

When I had called 1800uhaul I reserved a 10 foot uhaul with a dolly with straps and when I got there they did not even have that type of dolly there at all. No walk around vehicle with me just pulled it up got out and walked backed in store . Was assusomr stop and started helping another that came in behind me . Well the company can start by making sure your trucks are not crawling with roaches. I had the worst experience in my life. For the amount of over 700 hundred dollars, i shpuld not have had to buy products to bomb and spray down your property for bugs. And now no telling if i have brought any with me to my new place!! I should not have had to do ny of this. I understnd the trucks re used by various people. But thi was just ridiclous. And i drove almost 7 hrs for me to have a infested truck!! Also this location is horrible and there is no where to park. Overall hated everything about this rental.Nakia E.

The van had the side door damaged and inoperable. I was not told about it prior to leaving the store. I almost had an accident due to this. My original request was not filled by the company I chose. I was relocated to this pick up point that was located 10 more miles from my first choice pick up. The provider didn't even bother to look over the truck with me .The gas tank level was lower than quoted on my receipt and there were many things left in the truck that I had to dispose of or be charged a cleaning fee. You're representative did not tell me he was going to charge my card DOUBLE of what I was quoted upon reservation. He just charged it without going over anything! I also needed boxes, but this location sells them at double the price of any other uhaul representative."Xtreme connections" is a very poor representative.
