My internet reservation stated that X Treme Connections operates until 3:00 p.m. on Sundays. Upon arrival at 12:15, an unidentifiable man stated "they are closed". That same man had the keys to the door 5 minutes later when I suspected this person as the operator X Treme Connections and insisted upon his honoring my reservation. Had I not, I would have lost my money, my entire moving day, but maintained my loyalty to the Uhaul rental servicing company. After the experience with X Treme Connections, I felt the need to report this to Uhaul. Long-story short, Uhaul's inability to compensate myself for this experience, a loyal 6-year customer after being mistreated, I will gladly give Penske the business from now on. I pray you never know the hurt and mistreatment my wife and I felt on this day. Originally, I pinned it all on X Treme Connections. But now, the Uhaul regional agent states that there is no reason for compensation--I beg to differ. If the CEO of Uhaul walked into my place of employment and was not treated with respect, denied entry because I wanted to close my business before I'm supposed to, allowed other customers to be waited on first even though I was first in line, I would expect to hear some backlash from by boss and have to compensate the CEO somehow. The bottom line is that this 3rd party location did a disservice to the Uhaul corporation, and this corporation supported that disservice 100%. Shame on both of you. Therefore, any company that does not respect its image enough to correct 3rd party vendors when they've done done wrong, or to, somehow, compensate loyal customers when they've truly been mistreated I must declare full and all out flagrant foul! If you are reading this and think you have the power to change my mind about Uhaul, I issue this challenge to you first: 1- Make a reservation for a Uhaul for a pickup at 3001 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA 18052 2- Make sure when you get there promptly at 12:00 for your pickup that the truck is not there and you are redirected to 232 N 7th St Allentown, PA 18102 for the sam pickup. 3- Upon your arrival at approximately 12:15, be sure to be denied entry to the business your supposed rental has been moved to. 4- Upon calling Uhaul corporate to check on the status of X Treme Connections, ask for a video call from the person complaining because the person complaining could have shown first hand how the "boss" had to be begged to go back to work, operate from behind a closed gate, then wait on other people who came in after I did. 5- Last but not least, receive insincere and careless feedback from Uhaul customer service reps who claim to have your whole story and will work to make things right, only to be told "there's no need for compensation since you got your truck."

I asked for a different pickup location- this was the other side of town- not convenient- there was pieces of somebodies stuff in the back and the low air light for the tire was on. Before we could do anything we had to fill the tires at a gas station

The truck smelled like heavy cigarette smoke it was so overwhelming that I began to feel sick. I had to drive with the windows down in the rain just so I could breath, it was unacceptable.

Uhaul was not cleaned AT ALL. Someone had been smoking and ashed all over the seats and cup holders, there was also an opened Gatorade in the truck as well.

Having an 8 am self pickup and getting out of their at 9:15 after having to go into the office is not acceptable. Return took 20 minutes because there isn't a dedicated person. It's a prepaid cell phone office with lines of people looking to buy minutes. I won't be going there agaiin nor do I think I am going to recommend U-Haul.

Wiper cleaner dispenser doesn't work on driver side and passenger side works poorly please fixed. windshield was really dirty, cargo area too.

Never saw personnel and was lucky to find a spot on the street. Received my receipt timely with all charges being fair. I would definitely recommend U Haul!!

Truck not properly swept before I got it. I got paperwork for wrong truck. Truck not fueled to level on paperwork. Mileage did not match paperwork. Everyone was nice enough in the business and corrected errors. Bad hard parking lot to enter and exit but this is a product of being downtown adjoining a mechanic shop.

Not have the customer drive 21 miles to pick up a truck instead of going 14 miles. The very place I ordered the truck had truck the same size and hadn't moved from where it was in the morning when we went by and at a later time in the day. What's the purpose to make to cause customer to go out of their way to get that same truck. I will surely think twice before using U-Haul again and be inconvenienced again. Poor service.
