I rent from Uhaul frequently but I will never rent from Yellow Door self uhaul rental again. It is neither quick nor convenient. Never again.

The experience was not smooth. The key was not in the lock box and I spent an hour talking with 4 different people to get the key. It was in the yellow drop box. Also, the truck I wanted was ‘broken’ which left the more expensive option. So, overall more expensive and more time consuming than I expected.

Debra CCheck out/turn in process was difficult, requiring that I download some sort of app to return keys. Very confusing when you are tired and just want to return the equipment. I had to take time to call the next day just to make sure I didn’t miss anything because i didn’t understand the return process fully.

Brian WI could only take one photo a question on the app so I wasn’t able to take a pic of more than one issue in the cab. I did very much appreciate the newer model Ford. It was a nicer ride than the older model U-Haul trucks. Side mirrors were very helpful.

Derek EWhen I arrived there was no one there. I contacted the number and a temp agent arrived within 15 minutes. It seemed like he did not receive any training to rent out the vehicles. It took about 20 minutes to finally get a truck. While driving the vehicle, any turn or bump would cause the vehicle to jerk either left or right making it very difficult to drive. Id recommend an inspection of that vehicle to ensure it does not cause an accident for the next renter.
JOSEPH SThe Lantana location was great once the office opened. The phone line to uhaul was terrible. The first person I spoke with said I had a duplicate account which was a "known problem". He transferred me to someone who proceeded to cut me off (with an attitude) and transferred me to another person. That person put me on hold and then disconnected me. I called back and got transferred again. The final person I spoke with was able to help link my account to my reservation but I was unable to get my rental because my phone location couldn't be confirmed. I gave up at that point and returned to the office when they opened later that morning where the person in the office was able to help.

Trish MI requested a different location and in a separate transaction had purchased other products. Moving my location delayed getting started with the move by over 2 hours.
