After moving I noticed that the truck was very dirty inside. Several of my items got stained in the moving process.

DANNIE SI had a wonderful experience with this U-Haul location. Although the representative was busy, she took the time to assist me with my reservation and ensured everything was handled smoothly. She was extremely helpful, polite, and demonstrated outstanding professionalism throughout the process. Her friendly and pleasant demeanor made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. This was truly one of the best customer service experiences I have had with U-Haul. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in need of a rental and will definitely return for future business.

Rhondale HWhen I got there the system was down. I couldn't pick up from my phone. I was told I had to move my care because there was no parking. I told them I would need to cancel my reservation and then was told I could park in handicap, which I was because I indeed have a handicap. The customer service was lacking but the location was convenient for my needs.
DANIELLE BI rented a van during the holiday season at this Waldorf location and it was only one person working. Wanda was excellent. She handled everything from the check-in, check out, retrieve the vehicles with MUCH patience and professionalism. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE based on the circumstances.
JUANITA PI have experienced several uhauls and this process was the hardest (dealing with trying to get the information into the phone, running into several issues and having to give my phone to the manager. the whole experience was expensive per mile and ift feel like it happens bc of the are. I have never had that experience and an area like bowie, annapolis, columbia or even waldorf for that matter. The whole experience, I wouldn't recommend to anyone outside of that area.
Tiffany HThe van had someone else paperwork in the window of the van, something had spilled leaving it sticky around the cup holders, and it had a terrible cigarette smell. I suffer from asthma so I'm glad I had my inhaler on me. I've rented uhauls from this location multiple times and never had a problem. I was surprised how nasty and smelly it was this time.

MONIQUE JI would not recommend using U-Haul at all. First the online ordering system wouldn't let me complete the order. Then agent that called me tried telling me that the closest place to rent my equipment was over 40 miles away. Then when I said Walmart cancel amazingly they found one that was only 10 miles from my house when there are three that are within a mile and a half of my house. Then when I told them I needed it for 24 hours they decided to have a return time of 2:30 in the morning instead of 4:00 in the afternoon like when I got the vehicle. The truck had bald tires on the back end which got stuck and I ended up having to use a winch to get it unstuck that I had to go and buy. When I received the truck it was dirty on the cargo area. There was some type of hair all over the cargo area. The fuel efficiency of the empty truck when driving it from the rental place and back to was ridiculously low at 6 miles per gallon. The soft gentle ride did not exist I've driven tractors that were had a softer ride. The ramp for loading stuff and unloading stuff was not easy to get in or out cuz it's slightly bent. And the cargo light did not work. If I ever have to rent a moving truck ever again it will not be from U-Haul.

JEFFREY VThe truck was clean, but with over 131,000 miles on it, the truck struggles when loaded. It might be a good idea to rent different classes of vehicles, I know that I would pay a little more for a newer rental, while you can discount the older models..

Ursula TDropped off both the truck and the tow dolly (by Mr. Elijah F.'s instruction) before the office closed on Sunday, 26 October 2025. Yet, I received a message that the tow dolly was still in my possession and U-Haul tried charging $63 ($20 per day plus $3 tax) for three days of use, which was not true. This soured my overall experience especially for a person as responsible as me. I was supposed to drop the truck and the tow dolly in Fort Washington but the Waldorf location en route to make sure I could drop both equipment at no charge and I received that assurance from an older lady who worked on Sunday, 26 October 2025. These misunderstandings will continue happening as long as people do not approach their job with seriousness and have a sense of ownership. Otherwise, the experience was above average. Thank you for taking my comments into account.

gwendolyn JThe last time I used U-Haul, I was ripped off by Your Space Storage of St Charles in Waldorf, MD. The same place I picked the truck up this time. The lady overcharged me by $80.00. Funny that she doesn't work there anymore. Maybe you should go back over your records and reimburse all the customers that she stole money from.
