No dolly in the rear of U-Haul and young lady insisted I travel to an authorized U-Haul location to go retrieve one, adding unnecessary miles that I had to pay for. Also, why was. $30 safemove fee added???

DEMETRIA MVery horrible communication. Not helpful whatsoever. Told me they “could not” accept my rental return even though they could. Sent me to multiple locations in which they didn’t help either.
Memree JMy only issue is that when I arrived I found out that the location did not have any even though its available to reserve. It took time away from me moving to have to find one. I did not find one until almost 3 hours later. Another thing, on the passenger side of the truck as soon as I open the door the black door liner just fell down.

Laverne BFire you're entire scheduling team because they made me travel to this location after I tried to pick up from my preferred location. The Gulf freeway location was amazing and the people were very polite but U-hauls scheduling division needs training or an overhaul. For questions or concerns call: 832 795 6412.
Cory WCustomer service and the scheduling were very poor and utterly ridiculous. Sent me to a closed location and had me sitting outside of it for nearly an hour waiting on them to find another, only to arrive and them not even have my location. The only decent thing about this experience is the lady at the location waited 10 min past closing for me to return. I will never rent Uhaul again thought.
DOMINICK IThey had an issue processing my reservation. The lady called uhaul for help. The rep told the lady helping me that is was my credit card that was causing the issue. I called my credit card and they showed uhaul authorized my card twice. Needless to say 2.5 hours later and having to redo my entire reservation in the phone it was finally processed. The issue wasn't my card it was somewhere in yalls system. The truck drove poorly very shaky when stopping. Not a good experience. The lady helping me was very apologetic and was trying her best.

Timothy BRented a truck from an Alvin TX location, 2 miles from my house. Had to pick the truck up from a Houston location. Not sure what happened to the Alvin pick up.
Randy TPre-arranged the truck on-line. Never received a call from uhaul rep the day before to confirm. Flew down to Houston Tx... Had a taxi take me to the address listed on my on-line paperwork reservation. The manager there told me there was no truck there. Looked up my application number to find out what happened....found out the truck was at another location ( a storage place..not a uhaul center). Since the taxi had left the manager gave a us a ride there ( Thank you Arie). Filled out the paperwork and got the keys only to find out that the truck was a mess ... ashes all over, lighters, last persons contract, slime all over the dash and cup holders. Went back in to the office to find out WTF why it wasnt clean and was told they dont have any equipment there to take care of the trucks...also had no boxes, no blankets nothing....take it or leave it. We had to live in this smelling pile of disgusting junk for just over 1800 miles... There better be a refund soon...

ANTONETTE MOn May the 31st I had worst eperience at U-haul. I did my reservation online and was supposed to get my 26 size truckf rom 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. from 9101 sout Main, but when I got there the rude man told me that there was no truck available for me and told me to call customer service. After I talked to two two people on the phone they told me to go to 10710 to get my truck. When I arrived there the cashier told me, "if you have a reservation don't get in line because we have no trucks" So there was no truck for me again. Called again the two people and they sent me to 603 FM 1092 Stafford (very far away from me) when I was about halfway they call me and said there was no truck for me again!! And he asked me to pull over to the side of the road until he foud a truck. He sent me to 2117 Shepherd drive (very far again) I went there and again...NO TRUCK FOR ME. There I go again! Called, spoke to two people and they sent me to 9330 Gulf Freeway (very, very far away) but finally I got a truck at almost 2:00 p.m FI'VE HOURS LATER!!! And NO DOLLIES! Originally I had rented 2 of the largest ones and the truck was a 15 instead the 26 originally reserved. So I had to get the dollies from other locations. I had to make 2 trips and not to mention the people that was helping me move left after 5 hours of waiting so I needed to pay others to help me and I ended up paying $191.00 and they told me that they would only take off $50.00 for the inconveniences!!!

JOSEPH KHad to wait over 2 hours to get a truck. There was 1 person working at the location and customers had to keep waiting outside while the employee did his job. The employee needed assistance because there was a malfunction with the systems and when he called customer service they were rude on the phone and hung up on him. When he called back the next representative cut him off and just transferred him The corporate office was not able to help, he was put on hold for awhile and then corporate advised your employee to call an area manager. When the corporate office is unable and unwilling to assist you that says a lot about your company. I must say that the employee at that location didn't give up and apologized. He was very professional in how he handled the situation. I hope to never go back.
