There was some confusion about checking the van in and out. We were unable to get in touch with the person who checked the van out and I continued to receive notices from UHaul that the van was due back. This was not good.

Very friendly and helpful service BUT.......The truck i got had alot of problems i didnt think i was going to make it to my destination. Its wasnt shifting correctly and took me a total of 2 and a half days driving a day trip. Horrible experience with this truck and the outside of the tires were very bald no tread and it kept pulling to the left. It was a very scary drive as the truck wasnt safe to be driven.

Address was incorrect, no one was present at pick up. Had to call a number and a guy came from down the road. Had a reservation time but the truck and equipment was not ready. It was an hour before finally getting the truck and leaving.

I made a reservation on 5/8 for a rental on 5/24. On 5/21 the company doing the packing called and convinced me to cancel that move and he would make a reservation for me from his location. He assured me the price would be the same or maybe even a little less. This was false. The original truck was quoted at $286 and he charged me $365. Outrageous. He also came and met me and asked how I was going to pay for the extra hours packing. I told him when I had used the service before I had no problem doing it online. He told me it didn’t work right when previous customers tried to do it. He gave me an envelope to put the cash in or check made out to him personally and to give to his workers after I had sealed it. I wrote out a check made out to him.

After FINALLY locating a uhaul place, I sat in parking lot thinking after ten minutes it was a drop off only for keys. A lady comes out and says we have to move it. Already dropped the keys in the bin. It was a horrible experience. We drove around for an hour before we actually found a place that was on the map. Uhaul needs better location connections. Used extra miles and gas trying to find these places. I do NOT expect to be charged!

We went 15 miles further to this location because the Lillington, NC dealer was not friendly at all! Well worth the extra miles to get great service! Thank you Scott at the Seminole Rd. location in Broadway NC. We'll be using your services again soon.

I have been charged 99 cents a mile instead of the 58 cents a mile because I had to travel so far to pick up the vehicle and the lady quoted me 58 cents a mile, the company needs to fix my invoice

no people, no clear signage for office or contact when no one is at office. No markings or delineation of property. One big Uhaul sign and a stone driveway. The only place you can't park. So i just left it on the grass next to the driveway. The "after hours" contact number during regular business hours was not much help as the voice on the other end didn't seem to care much what i did with the truck and trailer as long it WASN'T in the stone driveway.. Horrible experience with Uhaul from one week prior to the reservation! the worst! never again!

no one there and when called number to find out where the truck and trailer should be left i got "anywhere except in driveway." So i just left it in the grass, possibly in the neighbor's yard, i have no idea. nothing was designated or marked. no signage. you don't even know what building or door to use. Dropping off the Uhaul truck and Transport was the best part of the entire ordeal renting from Uhaul. Will not use nor recommend Uhaul ever again. Disaster from beginning to end. phone 267-974-6513

I had a great experience at the broadway, nc location. Staff was very helpful but at the Fayetteville, NC location where I had my hitch installed was awful. I will never have my hitch installed at another uhaul location. The man installing my hitch was upset and told the cashier outside he was gonna take his time on my vehicle. She discussed this conversation with another cashier, where I could hear. I was very upset but I needed my hitch installed that day, so I stayed. I am 7 months pregnant and I was told it would an hour, but actually took 2 1/2 hours. I was very uncomfortable. The tech also broke my sunglass holder that goes on my visor, and never mentioned it. He just placed the pieces in my cup holder, not gonna complain over 10 dollars, but I will really rethink before using uhaul again.

The local dealers were great, corporate was a nightmare until the end. I rented a truck for a move, was told it was a 2 day rental when I scheduled it then after I paid I got a conformation call and was told it was only a 24hr rental. I was then told (by a not so courteous lady) that if I did not have it back in 24hrs there would be a late fee. After I accepted that there would be a late fee I found out that the truck I reserved 3mins from my house was no longer available and I would have to drive 35mins away to pick up a truck. Then when I got the truck he did not have a dolly, which I already paid for. I will say the local guy at Broadway went above and beyond to find a cart for us, unfortunately that took some time which made me late for an appointment. After this whole debacle I got a call to setup a dropoff location (which I had already done the day prior after being told I had to) and when I explained all the pain that uhaul had been she waived all the fees for me, which put them in much better standing with me. Would I rent from uhaul again? Not if u paid me, but all in all I got everything I wanted and originally asked for . the only problem was I had to go around my a$$ to get to my elbow to get it.

Food containers in truck, but all else ok. We were told from store owner that since we were renting on Saturday and the store was closed Sunday...that we could keep truck till Monday. When we picked up truck Saturday, he told us that we had to return in very early Sunday morning because uhaul made a reservation for someone else. He apologized greatly, but this was very annoying because we made plans to keep truck till Monday.

I reserved a truck well in advance for pickup in the city where I live. However, the day before, I found out that I had to drive an hour to pick up the truck and an hour back to my apartment. This should not happen. Reservation locations should be kept.
