Honor the items included in a reservation and if you don't have the items available then say so, versus a customer picking up the truck out of hours just to find that the other reserved items (dolly, furniture pads, etc.) are not in the truck or available at time of pickup. Very inconvenient for customers and really rather go elsewhere or use another business altogether.
Michael Sagain when rented the truck, the location was closer to our place. then day before was a much further away and less convenient. This was not surprising after the first experience but was not convenient or good business to say it is one way when change at the last minute.

Gary PIt seemed like the gas tank had a hole. Picked it up and it was on E. Once filled, it went through gas very quickly, much faster than usual. We had to spend much more money on gas than anticipated. When driving behind the truck, you could see fluid leaking. Very unfortunate.

Kristin BVehicle was very dirty inside and out. There was no gas. Putting $20 in gas did not move the gas gauge one bit. Had trouble picking up my reserved vehicle from a different location in calimesa, ca. After calling U-Haul support I was directed to this Yucaipa location where the 24/7 pickup was available. The U-Haul app was taking forever and it kept making me start over. After 25 mins I finally was able to complete pickup from the app and leave with vehicle. I rented a 10” truck. Only disappointment was there was no ramp to load the bigger items that I needed to move.

ALEXANDRU ROriginally set reservation with B&M Rentals in Calimesa for 8am on Sat 10/23. Upon receiving confirmation, time now showed 1:30pm pickup, so I contacted them. I was advised the 6x12 trailer was NOT available nor would it be! I was told UHaul Res inventory was a week old! How the hell can you run a company with ancient inventory information?!?!?! After manually calling around found that Yucaipa Trailers had the trailer, and actually that location was better for pickup and return (about 3/4 mile from our destination location). Cost was decent...just had to burn an additional hour or so to locate trailer- something your online system should have done for me!
SEAN HGreat experience at this location. I would definitely recommend using them if you are in a hurry. No lines to wait in and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Thanks again for making this so easy.
RANDALL DWorst rental experience of my life. Still waiting for Uhaul to make this right. In fact after this move a d this experience I will never use uhaul again and I will be telling everyone I know about the terrible treatment and the horrible experience in hopes of keeping anyone else from having to deal with something similar. Absolutely unacceptable!

Paul RThis location is great. EXCEPT for their dropbox. It's basically a mailbox with a slot at the top. The keys I dropped into it were subsequently removed somehow (my guess would be a wire hanger or stick of some sort. Upon finding out my U-haul had been stolen from that location, I asked the staff if they would look up the security footage for that night. They stated they could not go back that far. I would suggest for them to increase their security footage data storage. Otherwise a good experience.

Cynthia HThe rep told me no milage fees, and i could drop both the truck and the trailer off at any uhaul office both were lies. He also did not give me a paper copy when i rented the equipment . Only after i got home and looked at my email did i discover 30 in milage. I called uhaul. The women there Informed me that they had made a mistake and milage is always charged. I said is reading the gas tank monitor something you train them on, because he wrote 3/4 and it was definitely 5/8. She also informed me i would have to deliver both items back to the dealer we rented them from .AWWWW.

Graham HI had many stops to make using this truck. I knew I would most likely put a lot of miles on the truck. There was a faulty fuel system and to put fuel in the vehicle it would only take 20c at a time. even to get 1/4 take it would take 15-20 minutes...It was unbearable. The renting agent was aware of the situation because when I first started the truck the "tighten gas cap" indicator light came on. He said not to worry about it because it wouldn't cause an issue. When he crawled under the truck he told me the line that had been replaced underneath was to long and that was what was causing the indicator light...it was also causing the ability to fuel the truck...I will most likely use another company if I need to rent in the future.

roy bAlthough there were several U-Haul Vehicles outside there were several buildings n I didn’t know which one was the office. Honestly I wasn’t sure I was at the right place. It didn’t look like any U-Haul place I have ever been to. With that said I received fast friendly service n was on my way very quickly. Excellent employee/owner..
Caleb GArrived to the location at 3pm. Doors were closed, in yet the times on the websight showed it should be open. After calling and looking up information, a manager drove around, and very nicely told us to just drop the Uhaul off and drop the keys in the box
Benjamin WThe guy that hooked the trailer up didn’t tighten it down to the truck. It popped of the hitch a mile down the road!! If it weren’t for the safety chains it would have smashed the backend of my truck. I get the guy was busy, there’s just no excuse for this, someone could have been seriously hurt!!
Mike BWhen we arrived we were told someone else had rented our truck and used our reservation name. The gentleman explained they used their own credit card, but U-haul.com was showing we had the truck for 2 days and 4 hours. It’s was very alarming to us. But it worked out. The truck was not really in great mechanical shape but it did the job.

Tyler SCorporate billing person I spoke with today was RUDE and clearly hates her job. I called in because I was billed incorrectly, but was greeted by an angry, no personality person who didn't care about my issue. The location that I actually rented from was friendly, cared about my concern, and I would recommend them to anyone. Dealing with corporate is a whole different scenario. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be credited for being billed double.
RICHARD WBetter customer service. The guy didnt want to walk the truck for damages or see if the odometer and how many miles it had. Didnt check how much gas. Did not get the size of truck we had reserved week ago. Had to go to another place to pick up the truck because they didnt have the truck i reserved. I will be reporting this to Better Business Bureau and Yelp.

WILLIAM BService was ok, But the kid that hooked the trailer to my truck failed to cross the safety chains (as required by Law). The rubber's on the chains were broken and the chains were very worn. The location was kind of "dumpy looking" and with so many other U-Haul rental locations, I would pick another location to do business with. The trailer worked well for the 600 plus miles I pulled it.

Randy BThe owner of the rental facility charged me a $25.00 cleaning fee for supposedly not sweeping out the back of the truck. I did clean it out plus I didn't move anything but furniture so there was nothing to leave a mess in the first place. I tried to argue the issue but he refused to reverse the charge. I will never use this location again. The guy totally ripped me off.

chris hYucaipa trailers is located right off the freeway, but is in poor condition on both the inside and outside. When I found where to enter one of the buildings to receive the keys, they had our order all screwed up. I reserved the Uhaul online to pick up and drop off at a different location. The representative had it in his computer that I was dropping it off at the same location at a specific time. Luckily, the guy was very nice and fixed our order to fulfill our needs and gave us an extra day to drop off the Uhaul. The representative gave us the keys, showed us the truck, and we were free to go. We had one more problem later in the day that could have easily been avoided had the representative gave us some more information regarding the truck, but please see following section "roadside assistance" for more information.
Caitlin LIt's really hard to find drop off key box, or know where t park for overnight drop off. I called to ask a question and the guy who answered the phone acted slightly annoyed.
