Fortunately the manager after 2 hours resolved our issue. We picked up the U-Haul and after a 20 minute run around was given the keys. Upon arriving at our house realized the person checked in our rental and charged us 60ish dollars. It took almost 2 hours and many phone calls included a horrible attitude from the “scheduler” before we got the return reversed and confirmed we were good to go. The people on the phone minus one included the manager was great but the people at the location were absolutely clueless and made the process horrible.

The team at the pick-up location was very helpful. They guided me up onto the car carrier and help me tie it down. They set me up for success. Two things about the trailer...(1) the straps that go over the tires were the old style, that is a single strap with no side straps to hug the tire. It worked just fine, but didn't match the straps shown in the UHaul video. (2) the ratcheting mechanism itself was dry and could use a little oil. Though the roads were punishing, the truck and car carrier both worked perfectly. Our trip was uneventful.
