I was sent a text message from grants pass uhaul clearly saying that there would be construction and that I would only have access to my unit before the end of the business day on Friday. I drove 10 hours to be there Thursday to clear out my unit and they had already started construction. I had to get a hotel and stay up here for 3 extra days until I can access my unit and making me miss work on Monday at my new job that’s really important that I’m there . The manager was really cool and he said he was out of town while the text message was sent to the tenants etc said he would refund my rental extension for my truck which was 44 dollars but that’s no where near expenses of having to stay here for 3 days.
