carol n | Overall ExperienceRented a trailer. Completed trailer rental application form via app and reserved trailer at rental location. Upon pickup, was informed my account was restricted from renting a trailer due to an e-notice from U-Haul. Paid a past due balance that was cause of e-notice hold on account, which did not remove the hold automatically. Called U-Haul e-notice assitance phone number and was on hold for 15 minutes, before selecting the "call back" option. After 2 hours and 27minutes I was connected with an operator, who manually removed the hold during a 3-minute phone call. Nearly 2.5 hours or 150minutes on hold to remove an e-notice for a balance that had been paid through the u-haul automated system. Does U-Haul invest in IT systems engineers, or simply fail to push their tech to prod? Absolute abysmal level of failure. On a positive note, the staff members I had the pleasure of conversing with were rockstars. Poor systems create angry customers, who vent to nice people. I kept my cool, however, do better on the systems side. The hassle should not exist in the first place. 3-15minute hold connecting one to your exemplary staff should be the normal. Do Better....
