Judy was absolutely amazing. While making the move from California to Arizona, everything in the book went wrong. As I arrived at the storage facility in this giant truck, I was already stressed out because I had never driven a truck that big. When I walked into the facility, I was greeted with a smile and a good morning. People don’t realize how far a smile can go. I let her know that I had a reservation, she searched but could not find it. She offered to book what they did have but I was set on having a climate controlled unit! I went back to the truck discouraged and had to call U-Haul to try to find a new one. Uhual could not find one in the whole city. I was about to lose. As the tears were filling my eyes, she called to see if the reservation may have been under a different name. I told her that because My Mother was going to be the one driving the truck it might be in her name. She checked for me and luckily it was. I was ecstatic! As I went back into the facility, I overheard her on the phone with an irate customer and she handled that beautifully with so much compassion even though I’m sure he wasn’t happy that I had reserved the last climate controlled unit. Reservations always come first! I felt bad for her experience with that caller so I made sure to treat her as good as she had been treating me. Throughout the day moving stuff into my storage I had many questions so I was going in and out of the facility and through the entire time she greeted me with such care and amazing service. She understood how stressed I had been and how hard the move was for me during our many interactions. She was very empathetic. I’m super happy that she’s the one I got to deal with because she made the process of getting all of my belongings into storage so much easier than every other part of the move!!
