Elton K | First ImpressionsWhen arriving I was informed their elevator was broken and I’d have to use the stairs to bring in my 20’ truck to the 3rd floor. Where I had already filed all the paperwork online for a 10x20 unit. I had to ask for my locks as they kept saying I had only reserved but in fact I had already finished the online move in. That was unacceptable, I asked why I was not notified of this prior. Then I had to ask if they had anything on the 1st floor. After they were able to accommodate me for the 1st floor and the paperwork was finished I was then informed the 1st floor is not climate controlled like the 3rd which is why I chose the storage facility. Upon returning the truck I was told they would email me the paperwork which now it is the next day and still the truck is not showing returned in their system and I have not received any email. I will not be paying a late return fee as the keys were in their hands at 11am the same day I rented it. Not a great first impression. I did try to call the facility yesterday evening but was not answered so it went to the central center who confirmed the truck was not showing returned but the lady did put in the notes I had returned it at 11am. I will be trying to contact the facility again today to get this fixed. The manager did his best but still for me to travel from another town with such a large load I feel they should be reaching out and notifying others so they have a chance to change move in dates or chose another facility if need be.
