There was no one at the drop off location. And, even though I followed the instructions explicitly, leaving the truck swept clean with moving blankets nicely folded, they tried to charge me a $25 cleaning fee? Fortunately, I caught it and called the main customer service # and they refunded it. Clearly a money grab.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkAll as good until we got to the QR Reader, we couldn’t connect to it, we used two diff. phones. So we ended up leaving it without checking it in, oh the business was closed. When we got home I called the 800 number to tell them about the problem we had, she said she would make a note in our file. That evening I got a convience charged with tax. I call the local shop Monday morning “ Angle” told me she would look into it. She also told me the charge was because I dropped off the truck after hours? I told her I did not read that in the contract. She again said she would look into it. I will check my credit card when I get home to see if the charges were refunded or not. PS, we dropped the truck off a day early and with more gas then required.
