Not the proper location drop off. Needs to be updated. I brought it to the location and there were none whatsoever uhauls parked in their parking lot while just down the road thé was another place that were filled with U-Haul trailers and an actual building u haul. Les chaines du traileur sont usées. J’ai loué un 5x8, et j’ai su sur place qu’ils avaient qu’un 4x8 restant. Personne m’as téléphoner la journée même ou d’avant pour confirmer ma réservation. Personne a retourné mon appel quand j’ai téléphoner pour savoir si tout était conforme.

daniel bI do not know where to start with the service of the Uhaul dealer. First I reserve a truck 30 days before the time of departure, fly from St. John's to Wabush where the truck is supposed to be located and when I get there no truck, the truck I had reserved was given out to another customer the day before. Then I get on a plane fly 45 mins to the city of Sept Iles QC where a truck is guaranteed for me. I phone before leaving to ensure the truck is there, it was. I give them a time I would arrive and I arrived withing 10 mins of the time I told them. The dealer in Sept Iles did not have the truck ready and I was told that it was lunchtime in 30 mins and I would have to wait until after lunch to get the truck. UNBELIEVEALBE!!! I go back after lunch and the dealer finally gets an employee to go and 'receive' the truck so it can be dispatched. The employee returns and the truck is finally ready. The dealer hands me the keys and tells me the truck is located at another lot which is approximately 2 mile walk from where I am located. I walk to the location and realize the blankets I had reserved where not in the truck, so back to the dealer who proceeded to get them. So .... I am now forced to drive an extra 800 km to get back to Wabush where I was to load the furniture for the move. This cost me in gas and food for the inconvenience. On top of all this I had originally requested the Uhaul for June 30th which would give me until July 5rh to return. Due to this 'circus' I now have taken possession of the uHaul on June 27th which means the truck is now due back on July 2nd which I knew there was no way I would achieve due to reservations on ferries and hotel rooms for the trip back to St. John's. I returned the truck last evening about 10 hrs late and had to pay for an additional day. So you ask how my experience was, I have said enough in the details above. I calculate I am out of pocket an extra approx $300 due to this circus. I don't think I need to say more!!!!
