Tell them about sending the contract by email & the need to read it, check truck for damage & fuel before you leave the lot….
Ken GI had several issues with this rental: 1) I requested a small vehicle to move my son out of his dorm room, but instead was forced to rent a 20' truck that was more difficult to drive and maneuver, especially in the small apartment complex. 2) When I received the truck, the fuel level was only at half a tank and I had to take the time to fill the tank before we could move; 3) the truck had no back-up camera or rearview mirror, which made for difficult and dangerous driving; and 4) the truck had no cruise control and I had to drive for 200 miles for the move. Also, I had been incorrectly penalized in the past for fuel charges, so I filled the tank, again, before returning the truck, which was not inexpensive. It ultimately was a very expensive and uncomfortable move. This is the second bad experience I have had with Uhaul, and I will most likely use a competitor going forward.

MONIQUE MI was very frustrated that I had to take a 15 ft truck when I had reserved a 10 ft truck back in December!
