Their computer was down both times I went, had to deal with them manually entering the reservation info which took far longer than I'd planned. This delayed me getting the trailer which caused me to be late where it was needed. The area where the trailers are stored in the back lot had a huge puddle (small pond?) in the gravel/dirt covered lot, right in front of the trailer I was allotted. Had I not been wearing my waterproof work boots enabling me to walk in this 4" deep puddle, hooking up the trailer would have been impossible. There is no lighting in the back at night, so if you are returning a trailer and need to take photos in the app to verify equipment condition and location where you parked it, the photos end up being extremely dim (even with the flash enabled). Honestly, not a great experience. The only redeeming thing was that the Esso store attendant was extremely apologetic and helped smooth the process along and made the calls necessary to facilitate the rental. Had this not been the case the first time, I would not have returned.
Mark WWaited ~20 minutes past the time I booked to have someone give me the trailer because they had not trained enough staff. Found broken glass in the trailer. Charged me for two days even though I returned it on the same day within the booked time frame. No employees seemed to be trained to use the system so I waited longer than I hoped for and the closing employee must not have registered the uhaul as returned when I actually did. Still have not heard back about them double charging me
Colin PThe truck was clean but had minor damage inside the box. We documented it so it wasn't an issue for me. The staff was friendly but they didn't really seem to know what they were doing and were pushing for me to use the app instead of them doing it. When I returned the truck, I asked if there was anything I needed to do and the same employee, again, was unsure of the process. It left me with an uneasy feeling as I left the location that something was incomplete and I'd be hit with some hidden charge. Thankfully that didn't happen but it took about 5 hrs to receive the receipt email and get that assurance.
JAMES SCheck in agent did not know what he was doing. I booked originally for Guelph and was sent here to get the equipment. Then I was charged for the extra KMs that were imposed on me by YOUR change in location.
