Kenny NMy wife and I hauled cleaning supplies and bottled water to the flood victims in Kentucky and West Virginia from Alabama. I wanted to rent the trailer in Alabama and drop it in Kentucky after all my supplies were given out. The Uhaul rental place could not figure out how to enter this in their system and could only figure out how to do an in town rental. I would not be back to Alabama until the 7th day so I was forced to keep the trailer and haul it everywhere even after trying to coordinate with rental facilities in Kentucky who needed the trailer for rentals for flood victims the were told by corporate that I would have to pay double whatever I rented it for plus a relocation fee. So my original fee was $305 for the 10 days I reserved it for and uhaul stated it would have cost nearly $700 to drop it in Kentucky. My actual need should have only cost me 3 days at $29.99 for a 6x12 trailer. So much expense, hassle and headache because the rental place couldn’t figure out how to do a 2 way rental.
