Pricing for half a day instead of 24hrs

Was charged for the pads that I never received. I am going to Penske or someone else next time!

Individual running the counter didn't know how to reimburse me for the engine oil I had to add to the vehicle. The location is also a convenience store/gas station in addition to being a U-Haul location so anything beyond dropping off & picking up a vehicle/equipment was out of their (or at least this individual's) scope.

I rented a cargo trailer and was told by raceway square that the rental was for 24hrs but if I checked the trailer in under 12hrs the price would be adjusted. I had the trailer dropped off in my hometown in under 12 hours but was still charged full 24hr price. I was then told by the the return uhaul place that 1way rentals are the same price for 2 hours or 23hrs. This is not what I was told when renting the trailer at raceway square in brainerd mn.

Return was a snap, took only a minute and staff was very informative about sites and events in the area. Never a surprise with U-haul!

This location is also part of a gas station. They did tell me where to park the equipment and asked me if I wanted a paper receipt, or have it emailed.

everything was the cutomer service from megan Vogt at raceway square to returning to the location. Only advice is when opening back latch door you have to do it with some mean effort. ??

The day I rented the weather was nasty. I almost got stuck in the snow the tires didn’t seem to be great and the ramp was frozen. It took a little muscle to pull it out. I was pleasantly surprised it started in the morning when it was -27 below.

Staff was incredibly rude, like beyond unreasonable. I was blown away. I don't ever write reviews like this. Usually people writing negative reviews have nothing better to do in their lives than to whine and complain but this interaction was juvenile I had just drove 3 hours through crap weather (ice roads, snow, crazy winds) so I could try and get the truck back sooner rather than later since that is what they wanted. I'm beyond exhausted from moving efforts It was approaching 9pm so I called ahead and asked if it was good that I bring the truck back tonight or just bring it in tomorrow, either way is fine - the gal on the phone said it was just fine to swing by. I believe I was dealing with a blonde haired gal who was helpful over the phone both times I get there, and the gal I dealt with in person was so incredibly rude, black haired gal. She was rude out the gate like I had been impeding on her time and that I was too late for them to be dealing with the truck. It was like I was dealing with a high schooler who had better things to do then to be anywhere but there. I had parked the truck at the gas tank - it was so cold and I needed to hit the restroom pretty bad, so I had locked the uhaul (I had expensive property in bags) and was going to take care of things real quick. She barges out the door and demands the keys so she can do a reading and throws her hand out like I'm rudely late. I told her I needed to head to the restroom and I can unlock the uhaul for her afterwards and get things taken care of. There was nothing but attitude and "I work here, I need to get the readings off of the truck... Hello to you too! This was the same gal who helped with the reservation and she was pissed because the owner doesn't pay them to handle uhauls and they are not properly trained on it, and anyone who tries to rent a uhaul is immediately an asshole and all frustrations of having to deal with uhaul reservations are clearly projected onto the customer I had customer facing jobs for years in the past, I'd fire that person on the spot. I will never go back to that gas station and interactions like that get shared with other locals. If you don't like where you're working, then get a different job I don't know who looks at these but things definitely need to be looked at here, I guarantee I am not the only one Equipment was great, truck did the job and was clean

I had to ask for help in hooking up the 6x12 trailer. I was horrified to learn upon dropping it off that it wasn't hooked up properly. The tongue latch was not screwed down and it could have bounced off in transit. I was lucky that driving 500+ miles that it didn't.

I have rented uhaul trailers at this location several times before and it is very convenient and staff is always pleasant.

Check equipment to see if the truck is clean and ready to send out again.

The trailer lacked the light cord and so we had to use one from other trailer on the lot. The return place had excellent help and so no complaints at that location.
