Before I rented it I showed the clerk the gas was not full, and not to charge. When j returned it I showed the clerk the photos and reminded not to charge for gas. Why am I being charged? This is a pattern by uhaul

Ralph MThe van was given to me with low tired pressure- which I ignored as it was a very short term rental. I could no longer ignore it when THE TIRE WENT FLAT AN HOUR AFTER RENTING IT. I understand this location is a middle-man for Uhaul, but the complete lack of maintenance is alarming. It was extraordinarily irritating to have to deal with a flat tire that could have been avoided with proper maintenance.
