I would like to rent it again

Change the the staff, they had us pay in one location and pick up in a another location.

The guys at the pickup point went out of their way to accommodate our needs. There were no trucks in our area to be gotten and so we had to drive 5 hours with our own vehicle to pick up a truck to move our household. They made it more than worth our while to get the truck and it helped out more than we ever hoped for. Good reliable staff!
VLADIMIR K. on
The truck was not nicely clean: cargo area a bit dusty, cabin also a bit dusty with empty cans from previous user.

Auto-transport trailer lights did not work when picked up. Delayed more than 4 hours while road side assistance was dispatched. Equipment should be checked prior to renting out.

Sid was most helpful answering all my many phone calls and questions. Picking up close to a residential area was very convenient.

Office was closed during opening hours, had to wait half an hour. And the guy o the phone was less than friendly

It was the worst experience EVER! The equipment was dirty, the staff was not friendly, they didnt help me load the trailer, i rented , i needed an adapter i was not helped regarding this matter, i had to buy one elsewhere! I have tried to get in touch with Uhaul Coroprate but have had no luck with that either! I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again ill be sure to tell everyone i know not to either!!!!!! What kind of a business has Uhaul become????

Terrible service. I will do everything to never have to use uhaul ever again

The experience at pick-up at 9:30am was very slow and limited by only one agent to process and handle many clients in a single queue. People in the queue were frustrated by equipment preparation problems..( like a trailer was still attached but not ordered), trucks with keys locked inside, complicated sign in paperwork to change to a bigger truck.. all in front of me in the queue. This resulted in a wait of over 40 minutes before talking to the single agent, who was getting quite stressed... but still was kind. Eventually, he called another agency and had me process my sign-in over his own cell phone, which tied up his ability to take new client calls! The, the online reservation data I had entered needed to be mostly repeated over the phone, icluding giving my credit card details (including the CCV!!) out loud in the small crowdwed office. An administrative mess! However, when I called in to U-Haul online to extend my rental period, the experience was smooth, friendly and excellent! So..the sign-in process at Symons Valley needs a lot of work to improve it!

Be open during open hours. Provide all equipment on the rental contract. Blankets were missing.

I ordered the uhaul for Friday Saturday Sunday Monday and to be returned on Tuesday. They said that was fine and when I got the uhaul it was disgusting and dirty I had to clean out a bunch of garbage from inside the cab, the back of the truck had mud and dirt all I sidr it I had to sweep it out and even mop the back and wash some of walls because of the mud inside so my stuff wouldnt get dirty and gross. Then I recieved the email stating I had to bring it back on Sunday, I lived in Calgary and was moving to Sherwood park I called that location and they had told me that it was rented until Tuesday I asked why the email said it had to be returned on Sunday and he said it must have been a mistake so then I thought it was fine until I had uhaul call me and ask where the truck was I hadn't even left Calgary yet on Sunday, I called that location and he reassured me it was your gusy mistake on the end in Edmonton! When I dropped thuhaul off it had the right amount of gas in it so not sure why that is on there and as for the 2 days extra I paid $500.00 dollars for everything until Tuesday so someone needs to call me to get this sorted out it's been over a month and your billing me now!

Where do I start? The guy grabbed my phone, then accused me of lying... it was just a terrible experience. I never touched the guy, but he grabbed my phone VIOLENTLY. I took a picture to document I was there... yes he may have been in the picture, BUT I had to document it so that no extra charges are incurred. It was scary! The guy was huge!!! I took a picture, but he assaulted me!

Five people in line for pickup at the same time, each taking 7-10min to process. Location should anticipate this but only had one person working a slow system. I completed express checkin online the day before and was 10min early for my booking but spent 45min at pickup, which put pressure on the rest of my move day. Location did not have the dolly nor the furniture pads I requested weeks earlier. Agent didn't have time to explain truck return process. Truck I received had a large crack on the driver's side of the windshield, of which I had to inform the agent so he could add it to the paperwork that reflected an undamaged truck. Non-location-specific feedback: UHaul also changed my location and pickup time, which added cost (mileage) and time pressure to my move. This is all within U-Haul's terms and conditions, as well as their freedom to walk away from their obligations entirely with very little notice if they don't end up having what you reserved. (By "Garuntee" they mean "Sorry you're totally screwed for your move - here's $50 for your troubles"). It's shocking that uHaul has become so successful with a business model designed to be so difficult for customers to plan and depend on.

Just need a cruise control in U-Haul .. thanks

The passenger side and loading ramp was very dirty, and reported to the convenience store teller, also the mileage price was very high $.89 per mile ?? Disappointing

First of all, they had change my location 3 times and the time of pickup twice on the same day. Not only did the guy take a lifetime and almost forgot to give me my Drivers license (he told me I was wrong and that he had given it to me AND THEN proceeded to look under his laptop where my ID was) but when I got there I gave him my reservation number he told me that he didn’t have neither the covers not the 5 trolleys we asked for (WHICH were confirmed on the email) and told me I couldn’t get it in any location anywhere, so tell me what is the point of doing a reservation if you are going to give me whatever you want? This experience was so terrible that I would rather carry the furniture on my back next time than go to this or the husky location again. Terrible service - 100% would not recommend to my worst enemy. If you want to improve, hire some competent personnel and a better logistics team, hamsters would be an improvement. I am so angry at this company that I took the time to write this review TWICE Because even your feedback system doesn’t work.

Staff in the office were very friendly. The furniture dolly I requested was not available when I picked up my truck but ended up getting everything moved anyways.
