Not impressed. During the reservation process and within the U-Haul app, the pricing clearly displayed “Added Kilometers - $0.99 CAD/Kilometer.” I have both screenshots and photos to support this. Despite this, I was billed in miles because the vehicle provided was a U.S. truck—a detail that was not disclosed at the time of pick up. I left a voice message at the rental location and received no response. I also contacted U-Haul’s main complaint line and requested an alternative method to escalate the issue, but never received a follow-up. The case was closed and marked as “resolved” without any discussion or acknowledgment of the points I raised—only a unilateral decision. I’ve rented from U-Haul in the past without issue, but due to how this situation was handled, I’ll be seeking alternative rental providers in the future. This box states leave a comment/ what can we do to improve for the next customer? They company didn't respond.
LISA SMake sure you have a back up plan for when your systems are down, so u don’t leave customers frustrated with no truck, and worried about what their next move has to be.
