I rented a trailer, all the trailer had only a 4 pin wire harness . commonly trucks use a 7 pin connector, The location had no adaptors available , very surprised because most locations have them in my experience. So it was necessary to drive back home to get one . Wasted 1/2 hour plus . there was also a problem with completely the rental forms which was apparently an issue with U haul. It took also 2 hours and numerous phone calls to resolve the issue. Which in total made us 2.5 hrs late to get to our destination. Was not happy !!! On a plus side the customer service rep was very patient and doing her very best to resolve the problem. Dave

GARY RI ordered and paid for an appliance dolly which was not in the back of the truck. Because the store was closed we just didn't get the dolly because there was no one there to fix that issue . It was really fun moving appliances with no dolly . Also I was led to believe that the store would be open and I would just go in and pick up the keys. That was not the case the store was actually closed on the day I picked up the truck, nobody informed me that I had to go online and do that whole portion and help myself to the keys that were already in the truck. It took an hour of my time just to track somebody down to tell me that I had to go online . All while the movers were waiting for me to get back with the truck . Also a waste of their time . There was no disclosure. This is the third time I've needed a U-Haul and the third time I've had problems with U-Haul. In my opinion this is a subpar company with very little regulations. And I would put money on it that in 10 years if I needed another U-Haul I would probably find the same issues because I don't believe anybody is actually listening or cares. In fact I'll be surprised if anyone reads or even cares about this review I just wrote. My bet is this was also a waste of time which U-Haul seems to be very good at doing.
Gillian GThe only issue was the truck was backed into a small snow bank so it was difficult to open the lock to get the key. Otherwise a very easy experience.
