The representative "helped" with taking the pictures on my phone, but it felt rushed that I was not able to completely look over the rental truck. When I drove the truck to my storage unit, I could not open the back door because there was a lock on it. So I called the office to try to get the code, but no answer. I called again and left a message. Their VM stated another phone number, so I left a message on that number as well. I didn't want to drive back if nobody was going to be at the office, so I was just waiting for a phone call back. Since I did not get a call back, I went to several places nearby to try to get the lock cut off (the storage unit office, but they were closed; Enterprise car rental next door that had a couple U-haul trucks; the Home Depot who rents out moving trucks; then eventually to a closer U-haul rental facility), but nobody could help me. At Home Depot they suggested I buy my own bolt cutter, but I did not want to have to buy one as I am a very petite female. When I went to the closer U-haul facility and said they would need someone to come by to take off the lock, so I suggested if I could just get another truck in exchange, but their one-way rentals are limited and had none available to give me. The U-haul facility gave me a different phone number to call. I spoke to a nice lady who happen to be from a different U-haul facility that tried to get a hold of the person who rented the truck to me. She also could not get a hold of anyone, therefore suggested I not drive back to the original rental facility. When she was able to get a hold of someone, she said they weren't even at the facility anyways. So, I asked if that rental facility rep could just meet me at my storage unit instead of us both driving back to meet at the original facility. He said he wouldn't do that and wanted me to drive all the way back to the original facility. I asked if he could just give me the code to open the lock and we finally got the lock open. I asked for my trouble of waiting for over 2 hours trying to get the situation resolved if he could refund some of my money back. He said he would allow me to keep the $20 lock. What a joke! I told him I didn't want the lock and I wanted a discount. He suggested only 10% which would have equated to a little over $20 too. I told him I would like more than 10%. He said he would try to ask his regional manager, but I still have not received a response after a week. Then when I went to drop off the truck, I told that rep of the whole situation of the hassle I went through. When he entered some info onto his computer, he said that I would owe more money because I went over the mileage for a one-way trip and said the gas was not filled up to the same amount.. It was the same amount, but the rep who gave me the rental and took the pics of the truck started clicking through all the contract which included the amount of gas in the truck. At least this rep was nice enough to cover that extra costs. It should be covered considering I wasted gas and mileage driving around to get that damn lock off.

I returned the trailers on time and no one was there to to help me take the trailer off. I had two trailers so by the time my wife showed up with her trailer no one was there. That would help her as she sat there for 2 and 1/2 hours waiting to unhook the trailer and they were telling her to unhook it herself. That trailer is like 200 lb to unhook. Very poor customer service at this location
LAWRENCE MWalked in the office and it smelled like the office employee was hitting a bong. Overall he was nice nonetheless.
BRIAN WThe place was small area and tight location for a trailer. Due to the Jack thing being broken took for ever ti unload trailer. They used my 2x4 to wedge in the Jack stand so they could lift it off the truck and a few other issues but that’s your deal and problem to figure out
WESTON HNEVER EVER rent from this location. They had other furniture in there and did not take it out prior to us getting back to our apt. I called them repeatedly but no one called until the next afternoon after we already departed to come back to Southern California. We had to leave a couple of items that did not fit because we just put it on top and was going to deliver to our drop off location. We could have easily trashed the furniture that was left in there. the Carmichael store asked us to stop driving so they could meet us and pick up their furniture they left behind. Out of the kind of our hearts, we did pull over and told them we would wait for 30 minutes as it was a Labor Day weekend and we had to leave timely; otherwise, we would be stuck in traffic and we had to be back at the house as soon as possible. They showed over almost 2 hours behind, we had to meet at another place. They took their furniture and put back our furniture but damaged a dresser, we have pictures. They said they would take care of it all and take care of us. We were behind schedule, we did not have all our furniture, they damaged our furniture and now is not calling back to rectify the horrible experience we had with them even though we were being considerate. Worst office, worst people, worst customer service. I would like my total refund please.
