Lady who checked us in very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant experience

The young woman, Jessica, who met us at the drop off, should be an example to all businesses of the perfect manager. . Quick responsive and very comfortable business experience for my family and me.

Every time we've been there they've charged us ridiculous cleaning bills for a small amount of cleaning. Kanawha city never charged more than a $20.00 cleaning fee while North Charleston charges us between $120 and $180 every time. All to spray out a truck that takes 10 minutes max.

There was drunks drinking in front of the door , the owner was telling us he had to go to court that day for calling in a false police report.

The only issue I had was. The check in person didn't want to check it back in. Wanted me to use a app. That was my only problem. Other than that all went very well. Thank you Uhaul. I will use again

Didn't have the truck size I reserved. The reservation web site sent me to a different drop off site than the return website. Gave me the WV Ing dolly.

Nice folks to help me.

There was some confusion with my son in law when he picked the truck up. He said they didn't seem to know what they were doing. They charged me $84.41 and $268.00 for having the truck for a half day and driving it 17 miles. I called and was told someone would contact me, which they didn't. I called again and also sent an email. Today, my account finally got credited back the 2 charges and then was charged the correct amount $88.67. I have rented before and didn't have any problems.

Avoid this location if at all possible. First rental they sent me out if a truck they knew had battery problems and it broke down. The next rental I get in and the mileage and gas level no where matched the contract. When I reported it they acted like I should just take it anyway. After twenty minutes they gave me an updated contracted. Little did I know they didn't transfer my credit card that was already authorized. I turn in the truck they give me a receipt and I leave. Two week later I get a letter saying I didn't pay. I call the location and they said card declined. I pointed out that I prechecked in and have a paper showing card was authorized. At this point they said I requested a different vehicle so a new contact was needed. I said no I was in the same truck but the gas and milage didn't match what was on my contract. They then said that is why the card was taken off and if I just took the truck as is then this wouldn't have happened. They charged me a 30 dollar late fee. I contacted customer assistance and they said the GM of the location would call in three days. At four days I called the store and asked to speak to the GM about it was was transferred to customer services who said the GM called me and I agreed the charges where right both of which are lies. I called the location again and was once again transferred to customer services who said there was nothing they could do but would request the someone higher up would call me in three days. No one has called.

I had to wait 45 for the owner to come back with the key to my truck that was reserved the day prior, totally inconveniencing my move and delaying the process.

Derrick is the best. In and out of there in less than 15 minutes - I would have been still waiting at any other place. I will always go there for my rentals - thanks

Great staff & equipment always ready to use.

The manager at this location is amazing. You are always in and out quick with dependable and well maintained equipment. I have rented all size trucks and a car trailer from here and they are always better maintained than other Charleston Uhaul locations.

Also very helpful. They had lots of supplies for sale, and had plenty of recommendations for getting help to ease our move.

Great service. In and out.

That was the the worst vehicle I have ever driven, I could barley keep it on the road! I found not believe that a vehicle would walk the road as bad as that one did! I thought I was going to have to turn around and not get out of West Virginia! I had excellent customer service! However I will think twice about renting a truck again!

More counter assistance

Very friendly and helpful miss

lets see where to begin, it took 45 minutes to check out, 3 associates were behind the counter two of which were looking at motorcycles to buy on line. when the one that was working checked me out and installed the trailer to my vehicle, he 'forgot' to lock down the tongue to my trailer ball resulting in the trailer FALLING OFF the ball the first turn into the Bank. While checking out the turn signal / brake lights, he said everything was operational,, well, no turn or brake lights worked. when I pointed out a dent and scored tire, he said, don't worry, you're covered.... maybe he wasn't too focused as he was talking with some young girl that came up to him.... I should have gone to the U-Haul store in St Albans,,,, they have way more professional people working there! just my two cents

First off equipment was not at the requested site. Had to drive further and in a town that is very confusing to pick up equipment. Wasn't even informed of this until the night prior to pickup which caused a lot of undue stress on my 71 year old disabled mother! Second they did not do a walk around of the truck and the passenger side headlight jumped up and down and had all the light of a flickering candle. Made it VERY dangerous since 75% of our driving was down after dark!
