I was suppose to pick up truck at Concord location. No one called me and told me it was cancelled. I called and spoke with someone who made the new reservation at the Charlotte location and when I asked if I could drop the truck off at concord I was told yes, then when I mentioned that at Charlotte they told me no. It's not in the notes here you have to bring it back here. Yes I was angry and then the young person behind the computer screen refused to service me and I had to beg the manager for a truck. Manager did tell me I should have gotten 50 dollars off due to the cancellation of my reservation in the first place which I have not seen. I need to move again in two weeks and I really don't want to use haul again unless I get compensated in some way.MELANIE D.
It would be helpful to Be notified about and if you give him more information to understand the rationale for asking for a third-party contact Who could essentially do nothing if something happened to the truck anyway. If something happens to me or the truck it would be best to please contact the police rather than a relative who lives outside the state. Thank you.LISA M.

Maybe have the truck ready on time with everything I ordered. Made me switch locations amd drove over 40 minutes when there was uhaul location right next to me which is why I booked weeks on advance. Barely any gas in the tank and the customer service was terrible. Overall tragic experience and I will go out of my way in the future to not use uhaulCody F.

I arrived a few minutes early and waited until the manager got there to open the store 10ish minutes late. Got my rental trailer hooked up myself and was on the road by 9:30. 2 hours I returned with the trailer that I rented for 6 hours. I was told I was outside of my time frame but she would only charge me for 1 day anyway. I said I'm not paying for a whole day I picked it up this morning for a 6 hour rental and it is 11:30 am you opened at "9:00" there is no way I am outside of my 6 hour time frame. I just hope I get charged the correct amount.Jason R.

I wish I could submit a review for 8009 Old Statesville U-Haul. The customer service was horrendous, I've never experienced anything like it. We reserved a truck for 12:00 on Saturday and chose to do the mobile option. We got there early and sat for 20 minutes trying to go through the mobile steps. During that time, they rented our truck out. We went to go inside for help but the main guy went to lunch and blah blah blah. I'm sitting here getting angry just thinking about it. Anyway, we ended up calling corporate and they sent us to Boxmeer Uhaul and it was a wonderful experience.bryan V.

Came to the store for pickup. First truck had to be replaced which took 45mins. The second truck had maintenance issues. And last we were charged for the wrong mileage. The worst experience ever. I will not recommend and this location on Boxmeer will get reported.Zanetta E.

Process the equipment return when it's dropped off. I had to contact the location after receiving an overdue notice to remind them the equipment was returned on time. An U-Haul associate did meet me when I returned the equipment both times and told me they will email me a receipt once the return is processed. I was also charged for coverage on a trainer when I denied the coverage during online check-in. $8 insurance coverage was added without my knowledge.The associate did not ask if I wanted covered during the pickup. It was added without my knowledge and I didn't catch if on my equipment contract. I paid it but will not make this mistake again. Everyone is nice at the location.Francis L.

On 4.3.21, I picked up a truck; the first truck assigned, would not start, the 2nd truck assigned had the check engine light on. In Ms. Turners (the only agent in the building when I checked in) haste on 4.3, she added the additional drivers name (Tammi Washington) as the renter,using her DL for the contract, not mine,Sonja Lucas, the responsible party. She also inadvertently gave me the customer before me her contract, and she received mine. I returned into the facility to address this issue of the Check Engine Light on the truck, with Ms. Turner, the agent who checked me in; The manger on duty was also present during this discussion; she said nothing; Ms. Turner asked if that is truck # 3060; she confirmed truck 3060 was just returned from the shop and the repairman could not extinguish the check engine light; Ms. Turner assured me that truck is fine and I would not have any issues. That was not true. The first time the truck stalled, I was in traffic; I called Ms. Turner back; she stated she would take care of me on Sunday when I returned the truck; Ms. Turner was not working on Sunday, 4.4. The truck stalled 2 more time after speaking to Ms. Turner. The agent who check me in on 4.4.. SUPER NICE... received permission from the manager on duty to remove the truck rental and insurance for a total of $45.00. This did not happened. When I called to question this, Ms. Turner answered the phone; I stated my issue partially, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, she then came back and said she would be right with me, she had a customer in front of her. 25 minutes later, she returns, I begin to somewhat state my issue again, she asked what are you calling for again, I stated that I would like to speak to the manager, she stated she is the manager; I stated, it is my understanding that you are a manger in training. Ms Turner ca m e back to the phone line 25 minutes later... stating her manager is loading 10 boxes, or something, and the manager wanted to know if I was calling about the check engine light; I stated I was calling about the refund for the truck rental and the insurance, that was authorized by the manager on duty on 4.4; I understood her to say she was the manager on duty; in any event; if she was there, she did not not address my issue on 4.4 when I returned the truck; Ms. Turner was very very rude and unprofessional.At the end of the conversation, she refunded the truck rental as well as the insurance. I am appalled that U Haul, and it's agents would potentially put a customers life in danger while risking liability by renting unsafe vehicles. I did write customer service to report this incident on or about 4.5 and sadly, not one person has called to address.TAMMI W.

The line and speed of service was terrible. There was 1 attendant at each of the locations that I used. They did not seem to be in any hurry to help anyone and didn't seem to be focused on any one customer. When I finally did get a truck, I drove it home and it was full of the last customers cargo. They did bring me another truck, but, it was barely half full of fuel. My contract showed that the truck had 3/4 a tank. Now I'm being charged additional funds to fill the tank. All of this caused me to be about 4 hours behind schedule on the move. If this is the best you can do, I will most likely use another truck rental company the next time I need one.larry H.
