When we arrived, they refused to accept the U Haul saying that they do not have space. When I turned my back to call U Haul customer service, Grand Shell employees put up a sign over the front desk that said "We are not a U Haul Drop Off location." The customer service people were helpful and told the Grand Shell employees that it was their responsibility to accept the U Haul. After 30 minutes of talking with 3 different Grand Shell employees and watching them go back and forth with customer service, we did find a parking space and the third employee we spoke to did agree to check in our U Haul for us. I would strongly reconsider allowing this place as a drop off location.

Side line business from a gas station. Not really dialed into rental business.
Paul SThe blankets were super wet. The dolly had a flat tire. The truck had less than 1/8th of a tank and even though I only rented it for 30 miles and drove 26 miles it almost ran out of gas.
Ryan SThis location was terrible. The attendant first told us that he didn’t accept trucks from out of state, and then changed his mind. While smoking a cigarette, he just told us to leave the keys and he would “take care” of it. Since that time, we have been contacted by U Haul 3 different times because this attendant never checked in the truck. They assumed we still had it. I would not recommend using this location to anyone.
DANIEL KThis was a simple move, just a bed, and it should have been quick and easy. Instead, U-Haul made it unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming. I reserved a truck in advance and was told it would be ready, but at the last minute I was sent to the wrong location where the truck wasn’t even available. I had to scramble to find another nearby location on my own, which delayed everything and disrupted the movers I had already scheduled, costing me more money. When I finally got a truck, none of the equipment I paid for was provided. No furniture dolly, no additional dolly, nothing. On top of that, the truck was extremely dirty, and I had to clean it myself before I could even load my belongings. I was told by the representative who helped rebook me that a complaint would be filed and I’d be contacted within 1 to 3 business days. That never happened, and it’s now been two weeks. This experience was disorganized, unreliable, and a complete waste of my time and money.
