This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. I received a call the day before pickup that my original location would not have the truck and car dolly that I had reserved. This was the new location that was 30 minutes away and opened 30 minutes later. They increased the miles but offered no compensation for the additional gas it cost. When I got there, they did not have the car dolly, knew it had not been returned, and did not let me know. They then spent the next hour trying to locate another car dolly. I was then forced to drive to another location in the Uhaul truck wasting the gas, attach the dolly at the other location and then drive back to the original location to load my car that I had driven there with. Again, wasting gas and at this point three hours of my time. As if that’s not bad enough, I had movers lined up that I paid for three hours and only got one hour of their time leaving me and my wife to pack up everything else as my daughter-in-law is pregnant and could not lift anything. We also could not unload that night because we got in too late to access the rental house from leaving three hours after our scheduled departure time and lost the time of those scheduled movers!! I hesitate to use U-Haul again after this experience! No apology. No offer to refund any funds for the use of gas to go get equipment they were supposed to have. This cost me an extra $200 that I want refunded to me!

This location had a very nice young lady help me. But she needs more help. She was working alone and running a convenience store at the same time.
MICHELLE DIt just felt very difficult to understand because it seemed as if you needed a key code to get the key but actually had to go into the random store which didn’t indicate it worked with U-Haul, and because of this I used 30 minutes of my time trying to chat with someone and figure it out. The cab of the U-Haul was bit muddy and it was difficult to start it in addition to the mirrors being duct taped so you couldn’t adjust one of them.

MAURICIO TI couldn’t get it to show me the mileage and it did say maintenance was due, but I didn’t have any issues. Shop keep was great and got us out fast. Drop off was simple. Thanks.
