allan FThe pickup and staff at Jens furniture were fine. However, this was not my chosen location for pickup (one-way reservation). All of my complaints are with U-Haul, not their contracted locations. I had reserved the truck at a location closer to my home weeks ahead of time. Less than 24 hours before the pickup, someone from U-Haul called me and said they do not have one-way rentals from my chosen location, and that I would have to drive to this pickup location. So, we put 10 extra miles on the truck before we even started. Could they not have let me know before this? Also, at the time of pickup, U-Haul sent me several emails and text messages, some including lengthy terms. In the flurry, one included instructions to check the condition of the truck before I left. I didn't even see that in the batch before I left. Luckily everything was OK.
