Gene CVehicle was dirty and fairly poor condition overall for a one-way 1000+ mile trip. No paper confirmation. Also reserved a car trailer for the following day for departure early the following day. Manager responsible for rental was out of town. Could not reserve a different trailer due to scheduling requirements. No one on site could help so we departed without a car trailer. U-Haul needs to allow for customers to rent eqmt over-the-counter. The entire "app" process is cumbersome and impersonal. That would eliminate many errors and missed service.
