CARA HI wish I had read the bad google review from three months ago. I picked this location because it had 24 hour drop off. When I dropped off at the location last night, the entrance had a barricade. There were two other trucks parked outside the facility even though there was a no parking sign. I decided to park in the driveway in front of the barricade and dropped the key in the 24hour drop box. This morning, I get a call asking why I parked in the driveway and where is the key. Obviously the key is in the 24 hour drop box provided and the truck is in the driveway because the entrance is barricaded. If I had read the 1 star review from three months ago on google, I would have known you are suppose to remove the barricade to park your truck. The other two trucks parked in the ditch with a No Parking sign must not have known that either. The people who run this location must be ignorant of the fact that removing a barricade and entering someone's property in Texas is criminal trespassing under Texas Penal Code § 30.05, as the barricade serves as clear notice that entry is forbidden, meaning you lack "effective consent" and are knowingly intruding, potentially leading to fines or jail time. Could you please either cancel this locations 24 hour drop off ability or ask them to stop asking their customers to break the law to drop off equipment.
CAMERON HI am trying to get in touch with the facility that I rented the tow dolly from. These charges are not correct. I returned the tow dolly on the same day as requested. I am not sure why I am being charged extra days. Please email me or call me on my cell phone at 936-827-1054 to get this resolved. I usually have a good experience with UHAUL. I do not want to give a bad review because of this. If the facility has cameras it was returned around 8 pm. on Saturday December 6th.
