Store was vacant on both check out and check in. Had to wait 10 minutes at check out for the guy to finally get to the store - no apology, nothing. Just drinking his iced coffee. At check in again, no one there. Had to wait. No apologies. Will never rent from this store again.

DIANNE SRenting from the Cypress U-haul was a great experience, and such a relief based on the experiences with another truck service I had just had that morning (they didn't have the truck I had reserved in advance, and wouldn't help me, pushing my move back 4 hours). The attendant was super understanding and very kind, and it actually ended up being cheaper than the other service. Rental and return was easy, and in-person and phone customer support was really helpful for any questions I had.
JESSENIA BWhen I went to pick up the truck at my appointment time. The door was locked and the person working came to the door and open. Didn’t acknowledge us at all and just looked at us with a blank face. I told him “we are here for the rental truck” he replied “rental?” With a blank look again. So replied “yes rental” with little sarcastic way, because I was stunned of the reaction from the worker. Than we proceeded to go inside where he didn’t ask me any questions just went to use the computer. We stood there for couple minutes of silence. I told him “do you need my reservation number” he said wait. Couple more minutes went by and he said “you had an appt today at 2 pm” I said yes and more silence for couple more minutes. Than he asked for my driver license. Waited again in silence than he said to my girlfriend. “Is he always like this”. My girlfriend and I looked at each other and I told him. If you understood how to do your job, I wouldn’t have acted from The start. Than he said “didn’t you see me walking slowly cause I have and injured leg”. I told him “I really don’t care of your injury, I’m the customer here and should be treated like one”. He relied “ fuck you and your mother”. Than I almost punched him for saying something about my dead mother. Than he throw the key on the desk and told me to “get the fuck out of here”. Luckily my girlfriend was there to stop this. This place very unorganized. When I went back to return the truck the real worker wasn’t there, but his wife and kids was manning the place while he was out. She was a nice lady but didn’t know the procedure. She called her husband and told me just leave the key and we are ok to go.
MIKE CI was scheduled to pick up a truck at 11am. I arrived at 11:15am and no one was at the location. I tried to use the truck share info in order to get access to the truck and after calling U-Haul was told I needed to get the keys from the front desk. By this point it was after 11:30 and some one was now at the location. The staff member informed me that they did not have the furniture pads I had ordered and that he had tried to call me the day before to inform me. I asked if he had left a message and he indicated he did not. I informed the staff member that I did not return phone calls to unknown missed calls if no messages had been left. I ended up traveling to a different U-Haul location to get the furniture pads I needed. I had hired people to assist me in moving so having these delays not only cost me my time but money. If I would have been aware of these issues, I would have made a reservation at a different location to save myself time.
