All American will try to tell you they won't rent to you if your driver license is out of state, they can't do that, uhauls policy is that it doesn't matter what state your DLs are from as long as its valid. Be prepared to argue with the front desk lady at all American about it too, because they keep their truck behind a locked gate so you have to go in. Bright side, she got me a whole 24 hr rental for the price of 6 hrs
