I chose to do the pick-up from my phone. At first it seemed a little overwhelming but it easily walked you through the photos and steps for pick up. It does as you to add two people and phone numbers as back up verification, which I didn't like. I had a couple questions and was able to easily call the U Storage desk and they were very nice and helpful.

Horrible experience! Worst virtual checkout process ever. Took me 45 minutes to checkout and 30 minutes to process the return. You should model your checkout process with how easy it is to rent a car.
Bruce MI don't think the previous customer put any fuel in. It was under a quarter tank when I picked up the truck.

MARLIN PMy return was scheduled for 2/04 @ 2:40 PM. When I attempted to make contact to arrange for the drop off I always got a recording. There was never a response to any of my messages. I eventually dropped the truck off at 3:50 PM (or 4:10PM) on 2/04. The keys were dropped in the drop box since there had been no communication and I wasn’t going to be responsible for them. We had been dealing with difficult subzero temperatures and ice to get things completed. Still no communication with additional charges was applied to the card for an extra day and cleaning. An explanation of what was needing to be cleaned and why an additional day charge would have shown basic customer service. This was a huge contrast to the way the personnel at the Clinton, MA location had addressed anything to do with the rental. I would not consider using the U Rental location in Detroit Lakes, MN again.
