Start by checking if the motor does not leak oil that should be a good start. Since when you rent a truck you expect it to be "maintened". Specially when you know that a customer was going to rent it and for long ride on the highways!! Don't expect the customer to be the one who need to start a ticket to get maintenance done by someone on the road while all his loggage are in the broken truck on the highways 20!!
