Uneducated staff equals disaster for a company! I had to stay is maryland an additional 2 days due to uhaul negligence. I paid 1300 to stay in orlando for for 2 weeks and now it's ruined . I have missed out and uhaul doesn't care at all. We had a 2 week window to get jobs and find a place to stay but now that's ruined. I hate this company. I will never recommend it to anyone I know. Especially not dundalk. Unprofessional. I need money back for my hotel stay & food expenses. That is the least that could be done! Make sure that going forward the for associates explain how the ubox works. I had no idea I had to wait 24 hours before I could access the unit. Ridiculous. That should be one of the first things you should tell a customer. I had no idea and was told that the ubox would be just "out" for me to access anytime. Well that was complete b.s.!MONIQUE A.
The protocols in place to minimize interactions because of COVID are certainly important and necessary. Part of the protocols that have me a little concerns is the reduction of interaction during hand off of equipment. When I got the van, if there had been anything wrong with it there wouldn't have been any obvious way to communicate that. The gas was a little low, which normally would have been resolved by the representative marking the adjusted level on the paperwork but that wasn't part of the process this time. There were no physical issues with the van, but if there had been any pre-existing damage I don't know how I would have communicated that so that I wouldn't be considered responsible for it. I didn't have any problems with the van (it was great!), but I was concerned that *something* would be found after I dropped it off that I'd be held responsible for without being able to ensure that it was actually the result of something I did. I know that with COVID there isn't anything to be done about all of this. I'm just hoping that when COVID is done this hands-off approach will end.COLIN B.
I scheduled the truck to be picked up in Owings Mills. I confirmed the pick up location the Monday prior to my move. I received communication later in the week stating the truck could be picked up in Dundalk which is 45 minutes from where I moved from. I was told to call Tracy @8008399396. Tracy was not in so I spoke with another person and expressed my dissatisfaction of having to drive 45 minutes to pick up the truck. Especially when I confirmed the pick up in Owings Mills prior to Saturday 4.24.21. I was then told Tracy would call me back and that a $50 credit would be issued because of the inconvenience and misinformation that was given to me. I have heard nothing from Tracy nor given a $50 credit. This is very poor customer service.JOSEPH B.
I was first told to pick up my reserved 20 ft rental truck at a location 30 minutes from my house. They had no record of this and I had to drive another 30 minutes to get a truck. Although there were many people working there, the service was extremely slow.SAMUEL C.
Everything went smoothly, the only issue I had was I had a pick up time before the store opened. I requested a pack of moving blankets. Went in the day prior to double check it was on my order and would be in the truck and they were. I was reimbursed for them.Keisha K.

Every time I have ever moved with you guys you manage to fuck it up. You changed my location 3 times, the last time being 15 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up. You had probably 5 different ppl contacting me at all time, all with different information. You changed my time by 2 hours and then when we get there all your computers and networks are down so checking it out took an incredibly long time. Overall you have made my moves more difficult than helpful every single time and I will literally never be using uhaul again.HENRYEDWARD B.

UHaul originally directed me to the Eastern BP location at 6425 Eastern Ave, Baltimore. Whikle there, I witness two other UHaul trucks arriving. This is no longer a BP station and the clerk refused to take the keys. There is still a sign saying UHaul rental on the corner. I had to scramble and figure out how to get hold of someone and sat on hold for a long time. Finally redirected to the North Point location. What should have taken 15 minutes and a quick walk home instead took nearly 2 hours and using an Uber due to distance. Unacceptable that UHaul is clueless to locations that are closed and sending their customers there to fend for themselves. Will think twice with the next rental.GEOFFREY H.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. Potential renters be aware, the customer service at this location is absolutely non-existent. Before you leave the lot, double - NO, TRIPLE check the mileage of the vehicle. Make sure they have the proper numbers. I rented a cargo van at 2pm, drove 11 miles in it, and returned it by 5:30pm. Received my bill and I was charged $80. My original quote was around $50. Upon inspection, I realize that I was overcharged on mileage. The lady working at the desk attempts to fix this, she ends up charging me an additional $20. She then gets the refund to go through for the additional charge and the mileage mistake. Two days later, I receive an additional bill from U Haul - charging me an additional $60 for the rental. I attempt to contact the manager of the store, she assured me that the other charges were holds on my account. They are still there a month later. If possible, rent from another company. If you have to rent from U Haul, DO NOT rent from this Dundalk location.Paul M.
