Drop off was good. The only minor issue was that I had difficulty locating the key drop box.

Since I was in town, I decided to visit the local U-Haul dealer rather than go online as in the past. The business was a pleasure to work with. The organized young lady was friendly and genuinely interested in getting me processed and explained the contract terms. She was highly knowledgeable in that she readily answered any questions or concerns I had on towing capacity and any other issues. My comments are limited in regard to the Auto Transport Trailer that I rented for a twenty-four-hour period. Upon inspection of the trailer, I found the retaining straps were still tightly wound around the ratcheting spools and not laid out ready for use. I found the front ratcheting mechanisms were very stiff and nearly non-operational due to slight rust or non-use; it was a struggle to release the ratchets in order to unwind the straps from the spools. After getting the Auto Transport Trailer to my home and before loading up my vehicle, I generously lubricated the ratchets on all its movable contact surfaces with white lithium grease. This made the ratchet mechanisms exceptionally easy to operate and I had absolutely no issues from this point onward. I delivered my car without any problems whatsoever. Upon returning the Auto Transport Trailer to the equipment yard, I laid out the retaining straps in their proper orientation and set the ratchets in a position ready for use by the next customer. I then checked in with the office. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this local U-Haul dealer and would use their services again.
