Staff kept arguing with me to try and upsell my decision to a larger vehicle. I stated clearly that I only needed to haul 2 8 foot wooden benches that do not fit in my car. Part of my time was spent clearing 3 day old snow off the windshield before I could leave. Vehicle lacked winter snout tires and the treads were not well maintained. Gas tank had less than 1/4 at start. A U Haul advertised as “as low as $19” came to almost 50 for a drive less than 20 miles, despite the fact that I put gas in the vehicle.
