I booked a trailer a week in advance and visited the rental place in Elliot Lake 3 days before to be sure all is in order. 12 hours before I was due to pick it up I was informed it was no longer available. While I was given a larger trailer for the same price (and therefore higher gas price to tow it 550KM) I found this very upsetting given all I did well in advance. When I picked up the larger unit, the one I reserved was still sitting there. I was then told by the local dealer that this cannot leave town. Why was I not told this when I booked it as I could have picked one up from a different location if I had sufficient notice. Also there was no reception for my phone at the location in Elliot Lake where I picked up the trailer so I did not get the text asking me to take pictures before I left the lot. Could the dealer not have informed me that a text was expected? I called in to notify Uhaul that the trailer was already at my home and the person on the phone was very helpful. He also asked me if I wanted the free months rent on a storage unit. I was never informed that this was an option and I had just purchased a storage unit elsewhere. Finally the local dealer in Elliot Lake never offered to come out and help me put the trailer on my car or any other assistance to ensure I was good to go. A little gester that would have gone a long way. In the end it all worked out but very stressful experience.

Larrissa SI was unhappy with the fact I couldn't do a one way trip and drop it off In espanola. So I was charged both ways for mileage as I had to return it within 24 hours.
ronald mI thought it would include a dolly and broom as a standard courtesy. Otherwise place was great! Got everything I needed to move done in an hour and a half! Very convenient and inexpensive!
Gary WMade me do everything through pictures to show miles and fuel and the truck was clean inside and didn't process the fuel rebate listed on my bill just shrugged his shoulders and said okay you're good to go
