I went back inside, and he gave me a furniture dolly instead of the utility dolly I had ordered. After I insisted, he eventually found the correct one. By this point I was very upset and said I would file a complaint. He continued chewing his snack and simply said, “please go.” This is the third time I have used U-Haul. My previous rental was at the Swift Mart and Dundas location, where the service was excellent. Overall, my experiences with U-Haul have been fantastic, and I hope this was a one-time incident that does not reflect the company’s usual high standards. Garbage left in the truck I didn’t see until I was going to drive it to the next location. Customer service was terrible, took forever and they tried to super over charge me. The guy working was ignoring me when I was asking questions talking on the phone to his boss. Tried to scam me and over charge me when I have pictures of everything. I never want to use uhaul again.
