We were told what size truck we should rent to pick up a hot tub. The hot tub did not fit in the truck they suggested. We had the truck for a total of 30 mins and wanted to rent a larger truck. We asked if they could just wave the rental fee or apply the one we just paid to the bigger size truck. We agreed to pay the mileage and everything else. They would not help us out with the rental fee transfer. We were out 52.00 to have drive a truck home and back to the dealer within the same town. I've rented from uhaul many times but this will be our last.
